Hiya!

Ok we need suggestions for date and location. Perhaps a weekend would work best for us all, since some of us won't be on leave with weekdays free till May, and by then some of us will be lolling in just-given-birth bliss with new baby...

Location: somewhere near Waterloo station? Or how about Richmond Green?

Just ideas...

3rd / 4th March works best for me

Waterloo area better too.

But open to other suggestions...

JellyBellyBump · 31/01/2007 17:10

You know they sell KK's at Waterloo now

cinnamontam · 31/01/2007 18:18

That is reason enough! Bring on the KK's. Failing that I do a Harrods food shop run on the way in.

The weekend of the 3/4 March works for me too. Getting very excited now.

I'm happy to go anywhere. Have Oyster card and car and will travel. Maybe there is a nice coffee shop that isn't smokey with squishy lounges?

twelveyeargap · 31/01/2007 18:27

Think 3/4 March would be fine for me too. And I can get to Waterloo/ South Bank area as well.

Is that a bit out of your way though, Scooter?

notsolilKel · 31/01/2007 18:46

Oh bugger I'm away in the US on 3/4 March. Any possibility of meeting in the morning on Sat 24 Feb or anytime Sun 25 Feb???

Love the idea of squishy lounges in cafe. Don't know of one tho

Also have car & will travel. Maybe we should start a list of where we are so we can see what is central to us all?

lilKel: Twickenham (SW) nr Richmond

OOh i'd like to come to a meet up..... I live on the basingstoke/waterloo line and from Fleet it takes 50mins by train.

Either weekend works for me. And i think i could cancel plans if the trip allowed space for a KK!!!

scootermum · 31/01/2007 21:24

I think both weekends ok for me, left diary at work-def the March one and pretty sure re the Feb one..
Im only 40 minutes out of Liverpool st so can get anywhere really...

ooh how exciting!Ive never met anyone off of the interweb before!

Juicylucytoo · 31/01/2007 22:03

Can't do the feb one

JellyBellyBump · 01/02/2007 08:42

Morning all, I can do the 24/25 Feb, but not 3/4 March as it's my birthday weekend.

cinnamontam · 01/02/2007 09:14

How about Feb 17/18th ?

scootermum · 01/02/2007 12:31

I could do then but I think TYG said she couldnt..
Perhaps we should aim for later in March?Sunday 25th or Saturday 31st?

ShowOfHands · 01/02/2007 12:38

Oh no you don't want to meet in London, tis a big, noisy, smoky place full of suits. You want to come up to Norfolk and see me. You know you do. I know a lovely little tea place we can go to with squishy sofas and homemade cakes. The staff wear pinnies too. And it has charm, not like London where somebody'll stick an elbow in your bump and push you off the kerb.

Anyway, while you're all at your meet-up eating KKs, I'll go to my lovely little cafe and eat lemon drizzle cake and cry quietly to myself.

notsolilKel · 01/02/2007 14:41

boo - SOH - come on down to London! Bring your cafe with you please, it sounds divine!!!

17 Feb is ok for me - or March 24/25 - anyone else?

OP posts:
notsolilKel · 01/02/2007 14:44

oh and found TYG's post - she is free on 17 Feb but not 18th Feb. And free in March except 16-18. Sound good...

I cant do the 17th Feb as that is the weekend that dh is being a mute gorilla! Cant do the 31st March as i am off to Wales for the weekend. Other than that i am ok.

Juicylucytoo · 01/02/2007 15:45

Can possibly make 17th Feb, but will have to check with DH as we do have something on that day, just not sure how early it starts.

aprilmeadow · 01/02/2007 16:01

Well i could do the 17th but it would mean bringing along my little man. He would LOVE a train ride!

BefnalBub · 01/02/2007 17:38

I'm up for it too - been away in Cheltenham for work loads recently so no time to read or post! JBB my birthday is on March 6! Hurray for pisceans!

cinnamontam · 01/02/2007 17:47

April - bring the little man too! So do we have a date that EVERYONE can make yet?

ShowOfHands · 01/02/2007 18:19

Bugger dates that everybody can make, how about a place we can all make?

BefnalBub · 01/02/2007 18:34

Can recommend Cheltenham! Virtually living at the kandinsky hotel these days - has lovely bar and good food...

notsolilKel · 01/02/2007 20:32

Ok, looks like Saturday 17 Feb could be the winner!! Hooray! (Second choice: Saturday 24 March.) Objections? Final votes please

Location: how about picking one of these places near Waterloo?

Nothing against Cheltenham, it's just a 2hr drive for me - and the thought of stuffing myself behind the wheel for 4hrs makes my legs go numb, sorry ...

BefnalBub · 01/02/2007 20:40

Agree - waterloo quite a bit closer for me too - was giving those north of London a heads up! What about waterloo bar and kitchen it says its child friendly?

aprilmeadow · 01/02/2007 20:57

Both those dates are good for me!!

Location ok for me as well.

OOh this is getting exciting ladies!!
