Hiya!

Ok we need suggestions for date and location. Perhaps a weekend would work best for us all, since some of us won't be on leave with weekdays free till May, and by then some of us will be lolling in just-given-birth bliss with new baby...

Location: somewhere near Waterloo station? Or how about Richmond Green?

Just ideas...

phew - for a moment there i thought you'd found my doppleganger SOH

Do you have any of their albums? Happy to send you...copies...if you are illegally inclined

ShowOfHands · 19/02/2007 16:53

Send send send. Got some tracks on my MP3 but copies of albums would be very much appreciated. Can you CAT me?

I think the similarities end at job and music interests re doppleganger. Gender and height two of the most glaring differences (he's about 6' 2!).

ShowOfHands · 19/02/2007 16:53

And what Robert Jordan have you perused?

cinnamontam · 19/02/2007 17:02

Excellent - I'll make you up some CD's DH and I have decided to go and lurk outside the Cat Empire gig this Sat night. Someone will have unwanted tix and it's only 20 min bus ride from home.

I've read all the Jordans - just wish he would finish the bloody Wheel of Time series. I swear every time I open a new one I can hear the Dragon Reborn going 'Here we go again FFS'

I have to admit a love for the early David Eddings as well. I've read them so often I had to rebuy some as they were falling apart. The stuff he has written with his wife is so horrendous she is a Yoko in my eyes.

[stamps feet and has MASSIVE paddy on the floor]
[wailing like a small child]

I will have to miss the meet up Not sure a trip to London 3 days before i am due to give birth is the best thing to do.

ShowOfHands · 20/02/2007 09:50

Now AM if I can do a Mile for Maude 5 days before I'm due, you can waddle on down to a meet-up missus!

Cinnamon I hear you one the Wheel of Time. Get a wriggle on (especially since Robert Jordan is poorly- if he doesn't finish we'll never get to know the outcome of the last battle). I have to say the thread the other night 'literary figures you'd like to sh*g' did inspire a Perrin versus Lan debate in my somewhat warped mind but I managed to keep my thoughts to myself. Have you ever read any DragonLance?

PS Lan wins hands-down.

Juicylucytoo · 12/04/2007 12:03

Are we still meeting on the 30th for lunch??
I've taken a half day as numpty boss won't let me have the whole day off.

AM will be able to bring Ella with her. How exciting!!

juliewoolie · 14/04/2007 11:58

ShowOfHands · 15/04/2007 18:28

ShowOfHands · 15/04/2007 18:34

Juicylucytoo · 16/04/2007 12:29
