It's sneeze birth's galore thanks to our fanny stretchers! We're soaking in piss and praying for Bat's hospital bag. We're avoiding our mens 'Annie Sloaners' and eating all the cake! It's JS Gras 39!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 39th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 37th grads fred is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 53rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Lemon!! And Country!! Ooh this is like a reunion. Or something.

Do you know where you want to go to give birf Lemon?

Good work on the growing of the stomach beards an important pregnancy milestone. Weirdly though I don't really seem to have leg hair any more??

FrenchLetter · 28/09/2015 22:41

Pud I'm squeezing this one out at home in true lentil-weaving style. How about you?

oneyorkshirepud · 29/09/2015 05:27

Ooh nice work. Hopefully going to Stroud for a hippy birth.

jellypi3 · 29/09/2015 07:46

Oops yeah doritos that my phone keeps changing to dominos. Dominos in a bag sounds amazing.

My belly beard is gross but I can't be arsed to rid myself of it. How lazy is that??

Hello lemon! Or French??? I'm confused, I don't think we ever met before.
But hello any ways Smile

First consultant appt. today - can anyone tell me what to expect? I'm having it because I had a section with DS.

oneyorkshirepud · 29/09/2015 08:02

Emrace the stomach beard Jelly. Stroke it

Saw a chiropractor yesterday re: my back. She said it was really tight and that I have a 'frozen rib'. That would be why my ribs hurt then. Had a lush massage and she gave me exercises to do. She thinks she could have me pain free in 4 sessions, one a week, but that will cost ££££. Seeing the NHS physio next week so will see if they are any good before deciding whether or not to continue with the chiropractor. Happened to mention to DH that she was a very gorgeous swedish lady, to which he replied 'I know, she's the one I go to for Sorts massages'. Is she indeed?! Shock

Off to London Village today, will look to for Jelly on the tube! Because that's how London works, right?

oneyorkshirepud · 29/09/2015 08:02

Sports massages!

jellypi3 · 29/09/2015 08:54

mmm massage!

yep we all live on the tube in london pud! see you on the central line! Wink

FeatheredTail · 29/09/2015 08:58

Funny how London village works though Pud - I saw my DH on the central line last week (we were both off to meetings in different parts of the city) and we both just stared at each other delightedly in suprise across the crush of bodies and heady aroma of BO, for five mins until I got off. Smile

What is this stomach beard business.....??? Does everyone get one? This isn't in the books!!

I need my highlights doing urgently. Before my first tri is up. Can I ask if anyone dyed their hair in the first 12 weeks?

oneyorkshirepud · 29/09/2015 09:20

Ah Feathered, that's dead romantic, like a James Blunt video!

Jelly I got scared of the tube and got off and walked instead. Country bumpkin
Don't tell the midwife, she is not into the concept of walking!

jellypi3 · 29/09/2015 09:21

Haha where abouts in the great expanse of London are you? The tube can be a bit daunting (and gross). I thankfully don't have to get it to come to work, but do use it to get around the city occassionally.

I thought walking was good for you?

I'm in London this weekend, I really AM a country bumpkin - I grew up in a farm!

CountryGal4 · 29/09/2015 10:00

So had my 16 weeks app and heard the hb! Wohoo. Sounded like a helicopter. Brought up my shit apointment with consultant and she suggested perhaps changing hospitals. Next closest is 50 mins away!!

ThursdayLastWeek · 29/09/2015 10:23

Oh country that really helpful eh?!
I have my 16 week appt tomorrow, I hope she listens to the hb

CarrotPuff · 29/09/2015 10:27

Yes, feathered, I have, it was fine - no reactions or funny colours. DS is a healthy boy.

FeatheredTail · 29/09/2015 11:38

Thanks Carrot

Hurrah for helicopter heart beats Country!

jellypi3 · 29/09/2015 12:56

yay for hb country :)

so some artard of a colleague of mine found out i was pg today so said the usual congrats, asked how far along i was (almost 23 weeks i replied), and then proceeded to tell me about she lost her first baby at 23 weeks giving me the story about how horrible it was etc. Gee thanks...

OP posts:
batfish · 29/09/2015 13:02

Ah lovely that you got to hear the heartbeat country!

Ooh stomach beard you say? That's one sexy side effect I haven't developed, I think my body is too busy producing spots on my back, chest and chin - absolutely glowing over here!

So being a foreigner I've never seen OBEM before so thought I'd watch it on t'Internet, just starting my first episode, not at all mental days before giving birth right??

Hi french! Bag almost packed - I imagine it will remain that way until labour begins to be honest Shock

batfish · 29/09/2015 13:03

Oh Christ jelly what is wrong with people! Surely having been through that tragic experience herself she would realise that is the last thing you need to hear about!

FeatheredTail · 29/09/2015 13:09

Bat the earlier series/episodes of OBEM are great. I don't think you're mad at all - it's educational and in a good way (most of the time). I say that despite the fact I watch it with a cushion shoved between my legs, feeling a bit faint.

Jelly....eek. Put to the back of your mind and ignore. She probably said it as it was the first thing that came into her mind when you said how far along you were...although having gone through it WHY she would tell you that when she would have known it was likely to make you anxious/sad/panicky is beyond me!

batfish · 29/09/2015 13:16

Why on OBEM have they just told a lady in labour she isn't allowed to eat a polo?? She's about to have an epidural but not c section!

jellypi3 · 29/09/2015 13:29

i cringe at OBEM, i hope my birth experience isn't like what a lot of those women go through!!!

she was just a tit i think, i imagine she was trying to just share her experience but she must have seen my less than happy reaction because she then said "oh don't worry, my body isn't made for carrying babies".

Thanfully Jelly baby has been using my stomach wall as a kicking bag all afternoon so i'm feeling fine lol

OP posts:
batfish · 29/09/2015 13:45

I'm sure I won't care when the time comes but giving birth just looks so undignified, don't want to do it!! All the face pulling and noises and nakedness!

purplewhale · 29/09/2015 14:01

FFS jelly some people! I had that too, scared the crap out of me!

Bat you don't have to have a birth anything like OBEM. Remember there's a certain type of person who wants their life on reality TV!

batfish · 29/09/2015 14:06

purple that is so true - if I'm worried about my husband and midwives seeing me like that then how on earth can some people want the whole of the UK to witness it?? The babies are all quite cute though Smile
