Missdee2014 · 10/08/2015 16:44

Wow I didn't realise the old one was full til I saw your post paper. ShockGood job, thanks for the new post.

Paperblank · 10/08/2015 16:47

My pleasure Grin I popped on at work and thought we'd best get a shift on with the new thread.

I've been to get my wedding dress fitted today. It does not do up round my boobs! Cue desperate alterations. This little extra guest is already causing trouble.

Oh dear ???? when's your big day?

Mrsrsw · 10/08/2015 17:03

Hello all - marking my place! Can't believe we're on thread 3 already!

Paperblank · 10/08/2015 17:12

Big day is three weeks away Whoop whoop!!

I am starting to panic slightly. I have decided that I am going to have to give up on work for the next three weeks.

Wow you'll be kept busy while you muddle through 1st trimester that's for sure! How many weeks are you?

MyNameIsSuz · 10/08/2015 17:15

Thanks for sorting the new thread Paper, and congratulations!!! How very exciting. No fizz for you though, boo...

QforCucumber · 10/08/2015 17:26

Marking my place to keep up - not even 3 months in and we are 3 threads in already, aren't we a chatty bunch Smile

Me624 · 10/08/2015 17:33

Place marking Grin

lilmisshopeful · 10/08/2015 18:00

Thanks paper. Marking place

Paperblank · 10/08/2015 18:10

Definitely no fizz for me [sob] oh well I will save a case for when the baby arrives!

I am keeping everything crossed that I keep feeling okay, I get the odd bit of nausea and sickness and I get tired quickly but to be honest I've got such a lot to do I've just got to keep going.

and I will be collapsing in a heap the day after

Hopefully the adrenaline high will keep you going all day!

dobbythedoggy · 10/08/2015 18:23

Marking place.

Freaked both my parents out this morning by texting them to ask if they could have dd when I have the scan but forgetting to put in that it was friday! Dad's decided to take the day off work so he can have a long weekend.

Missikat · 10/08/2015 18:29

Hi all, I've been following both threads but not actually joined yet so, I'd like to! EDD is 9th march by my dates so 9wks 4 days today. This is baby no 2 for me, already have DS who just turned 2. I'm glad to read everyone is having the same anxieties as me (think it's actually worse second time round!). Just really want to get my dating scan over and done with and see there's actually a little bean in there as have had almost no symptoms (save for more night weeing up until a week ago). I know I should count myself lucky but I'd kind of like something to show me that my body is telling me I'm actually pregnant. Is anyone else in the same boat? Xx

Celen · 10/08/2015 18:32

Marking place & hope to be a bit more active on this thread! I think I'm having a girl. I wasn't this tired or nauseous with DS & by this time I'd even lost all my first trimester symptoms! Not so lucky this time Hmm

8 wks, EDD 21 March, dc#2

Trinpy · 10/08/2015 18:36

It must be nice to have all that wedding planning to keep you busy during the 1st trimester!

It's so weird how different this pregnancy is from my last one. Symptoms are completely difcompletely different - I have heartburn this time round but not much sickness or tiredness. I'm much preferring it this way though!

Trinpy · 10/08/2015 18:38

Sorry, my phone kept eating my words then Hmm. First paragraph was to Paper.

maybebabybee · 10/08/2015 18:44

Missi welcome.

I haven't had as many symptoms as most of the ladies on here. Only thrown up once. Haven't really had proper nausea too - my main symptom is a horrible acidic hungry feeling in my stomach that is constantly there, and I've gone off a lot of foods. Other than that, boobs are only sore when pressed, I don't think I'm much tireder than usual (I'm always tired so its hard to tell) and I don't think I've been weeing much more - only getting up once in the night.

Don't worry :)

sunshinemeg · 10/08/2015 18:45

Hi all. I chatted on a previous thread, but can't keep up with here and the Facebook group.
I hope everyone is doing ok. I'm 10 weeks tomorrow and finally seem to be getting the morning sickness lessening off, which although is fab just has me getting worried! Sod's law.
Most certainly starting to show, just hoping to hide it until the scan, which I am still waiting for! How is everyone else getting on?

Herewegoagain31 · 10/08/2015 18:47

It would be really interesting to find out which ones of us feel different this time (I also feel worse than my previous pregnancy) and whether it means we are having a baby of a different sex!

MyNameIsSuz · 10/08/2015 18:56

Well I'm feeling pretty similar to my first, so I'm assuming I'm having another boy!

dobbythedoggy · 10/08/2015 19:03

here I've been much more exhausted this time around. With dd at this stage I was easily doing 10+ hour days being very physically active. I even managed a few 6 days weeks instead of my contracted 4. I was sick last time but didn't feel as bad with it as I have this time, I think I was physically sick more but I'm medicated this time. I was incharge of 12-15 2-3 year olds last time, this time I can't manage my one on my own.

AdorabeezleWinterpop · 10/08/2015 19:07

Thanks for the new thread! I am feeling a little better today. Boobs still sore but the nausea is much more bearable. Fingers crossed this is the start of a much more pleasant time! Very envious of the scans. Not even been booked in yet - appointment is on Friday when I will be 10+3!

firstbabywth · 10/08/2015 19:07

Hi all, I've been reading but not commenting on previous threads too. Having a blue day here, feeling like a whale but that's mostly bloating (and the second lunch, ahem) and hoping to get to 12+ weeks okay. This is my first, so my mind is in overdrive about the constant barrage of slightly different symptoms I seem to get every day :(

Is it normal to look forward to being 'more' pregnant, i.e. actually having a proper bump and feeling like it's really happening, rather than just feeling sick/tired/hungry/full?!

I'm due 9 March, so am between 9/10 weeks.
