Thanks for the new thread can't believe we're on no3 already haha

missi and firstwe've got the same date :) It'll be interesting to see how we get on! Can't wait to wave goodbye to the first trimester haha

LaraNotCroft22 · 10/08/2015 19:41

Welcome Missy and firstbaby.

Wow! Third thread already!

I'm feeling more exhausted I think this time, have a boy already, no idea what this one will be! Ages til we find out that!

Just turning 11 weeks so due end den/ beginning of March. Looking forward to getting a solid due date on Wednesday.

Picked at fish and chips tonight, bleurgh. I can't wait to get my appetite back!

lilmisshopeful · 10/08/2015 19:43

Welcome first and 'missi. first* totally with you on wanting to feel more pregnant. Not just to get beyond 12 weeks and stop worrying so much, and of course be able to tell people, but also this bit where you feel (or I do!) just tired and chubby isn't much fun. Also I've not allowed myself buy any maternity clothes this time round yet as I want to wait til past 12 weeks. So I'm living in leggings and baggy tops or maxi dresses when the weather is warm enough. Bring on 12 weeks!

Brindler · 10/08/2015 19:48

Hi ladies, place marking here!

Currently 9+1 with #2. Edd 13 March. Had a visit to epu on Friday as I kept bleeding everytime I (ahem) went to the loo (and def not piles!) Anyway scan showed all looked fine with baby - good heartbeat etc. just hope this bleeding doesn't continue!

Me624 · 10/08/2015 19:56

Welcome Missi and first. Missi I'm another one with hardly any symptoms. No nausea or sickness, no cramping or stretching feelings. I was weeing a bit more but that's eased off. I do have enormous boobs! But they're only intermittently sore now. Try not to worry, I think we're just the lucky ones!

Rosieblossom123 · 10/08/2015 20:15

Me you're so lucky! I just I could feel normal I struggle to get dressed in the morning the simplest things are so hard to do haha

BeautifulLiar · 10/08/2015 20:39

I knew straight away that my second baby was a girl. I did have sickness with my boy, but nothing like the relentless all day sickness i had with DD1!

As for this one, i really don't have a clue. Don't mind either way. Although if it's another girl i can only imagine DH and DS will want to book a hotel for one particular week a month Wink

I haven't been booked in either, and it won't be until I'm 11 weeks. Good job I'd already heard of folic acid eh!

Cherrytoes · 10/08/2015 21:28

Don't worry I wasn't told the heart rate at my scan either but nothing else made me even consider they thought anything was wrong with that, the sonographer just showed me the flicker and then moved on to measurements so I would assume the fact it is there is the main thing!
Welcome newbies! :) I also wish my body would give me some more confirmation that there is something in there!!! My need to wee eased off about 2 weeks ago but that was before my early scan which was positive so don't worry (I don't have many other symptoms either and have never been close to being sick)
And I'm another one who thought they were a rational human being before getting pregnant...even though I've had an early scan I still worry myself silly every day so I'm just accepting this is how im going to be...and trying to be a bit strict with myself and just be thankful I am in this position and able to even join in this group :)

marmitemofo · 10/08/2015 21:39

I've definitely got less symptoms this time round than when I was pregnant with DD, and I'm convinced it means I'm having a boy! only time will tell Grin

having said that today I have felt AWFUL. horrible nausea, tummy ache and feel ill and achey. roll on second trimester...

how do we join the facebook group by the way? is there someone I should pm about it?

Missikat · 10/08/2015 21:43

Me I'm glad to hear there's some others not having many symptoms! With DS I also didn't have many but I did have sore boobs which I've not had at all this time. I've been a bit tired but only a few days here and there not all the time!

First and Rosie, hi due date buddies, I'll be interested to see how our dates change when the dating scans happen! I don't even have my booking in app until next monday when I'll be 10+4. I hope I can get a scan booked in shortly after as with DS the scan was too late to have the neuchal fold measurements for Downs screening. I am with you all about wanting to feel more pregnant, just pretty bloated and fat feeling here!

Mrsrsw · 10/08/2015 23:07

I've got my 12 week scan on 25th, but got another scan at EPAU on thurs morning and midwife booking in appt in the afternoon.

Can't wait for the scan on Thursday to be done so I can hopefully start to relax a bit more and look forward to having a baby instead of feeling so anxious all of the time. Last 2 scans have been extremely emotional and scary but I'm hoping for better news on thurs x

Mrsrsw · 10/08/2015 23:07

No real sickness here anymore, just tiredness and very emotional - I'm crying at anything!

Missdee2014 · 10/08/2015 23:43

No major symptoms here now either. I did have nausea, only actually sick once though and extreme tiredness along with tender boobs and a need to pee often. I always need to pee often so no real difference there anyway. Tiredness and feeling sick seems to have subsided the last week or so. Boobs still tender when pressed and when I take my bra off initially. Rather nervous for my scan in the morning.

julesldn · 10/08/2015 23:44

Thanks for setting the new thread up Paper and welcome to the newbies!

Third thread already, wow!! Smile

Missdee2014 · 10/08/2015 23:44

Oh and I was crying at literally everything a few weeks ago, that's settled now. Still weepy but I've lots going on with my mums recent diagnosis so I'd be weepy re that pregnant or not.

Herewegoagain31 · 10/08/2015 23:59

marmite I'll check how we were added to the Facebook group, I think it was via a link or email
My symptoms were decreasing the last week or so till I caught this cold (which has turned into the most horrendous cold ever - whatever happens to your immune system when pregnant mine is clearly f*cked as I have been dying!) and today I have been feeling so nauseous like I was back to week 6. Hoping it's just a temporary thing and when my body finally shakes this off the nausea will go again as I am not happy about its return!

Mrsrsw · 11/08/2015 07:44

I think I'll join the fb group after my scan this week x

Indomitable · 11/08/2015 08:07

Morning,

So exciting that we've reached the point where people are having their 12 week scans!

I don't think I'll join the fb group - I think I'm happier keeping things separate. Please don't all jump ship!

Re the crying at everything: I thought I'd been ok with this, till I almost burst into tears about 12 times yesterday: when DS played a nice game with a tiny kid in a carrier, when the shoe shop gave him a special starting school book, when someone complimented my 'lovely child', etc. I'm a crybaby at the best of times anyway! (It does not go with my Tom Boy principles!). I am going to be a mess on results day!

Is anyone else thirsty? I can't seem to get enough water. Worried about GD but didn't think it would/could kick in so soon? I was tested at 28 weeks last time (negative, I just kept having coco pops for breakfast before my early appointments. Duh).

I find myself taking a pint of water to bed and then rationing it to last till the morning. (Which is ridiculous since I'm up to wee at least once in the night, should just refill).

Missdee2014 · 11/08/2015 08:16

I won't be joining the FB thread, I spend far too much time on there as it is. Please don't all jump ship, if we wanted to be on FB we would but mumsnet is mumsnet so should be separate ????

Ohwoolballs · 11/08/2015 08:31

Morning folks. I'm seven weeks today and by my calculation my due date is 29th March (though no dating scan booked yet so this may change!)
I am feeling horrendous, seem to have caught a cold as well as sickness that starts at half four in the morning when I get up for the first wee of many.....
This is my first pregnancy so obvs I am equal parts excited, happy and freaking the hell out over every new symptom. (My boobies are ginormous already Shock )

First midwife appt next weds - I'm taking my DP - is this normal? I have no idea about his family history and he really wants to come!

Indomitable · 11/08/2015 08:34

Oh no, OhWool! Hope the cold passes soon.

Yes, I took DH to nearly all my appointments last time. This time he'll have DS or work, and I know all his history better now!

maybebabybee · 11/08/2015 08:36

Another one who doesn't want to join the FB group, please can some of us stay here :)

good luck to all with early scans today....I think from memory there are a couple?

ohwool I think it's up to you really - if you both want to go then do :) I'm not taking mine simply because I think it will be a bit boring for him.

lilmisshopeful · 11/08/2015 08:41

Yep I'm also a tad hesitant about the fb group. Can see the advantages but also there's lots about the anonymity of MN that appeals :-) Will see how I feel after 12 week scan. 2 weeks today!

Good luck for today's scans. Exciting that we're starting to hit that milestone

QforCucumber · 11/08/2015 08:42

Another one who won't be joining the Facebook group, I like the anonymity here too much - only really go on fb to browse, can't remember the last time I updated anything on there.
Symptoms here arent too bad, achey boobs only when touched or bra less and nausea only when hungry! Keep reminding myself of the little wiggler on the screen on Sunday and smiling, was so certain it'd be the same as mmc before. Absolutley cannot wait to get 12 week scan appointment through, I'm 9+3 today so hopefully it should come through soon.

maybebabybee · 11/08/2015 08:53

On another note, does anyone else feel like they're really showing? Last few days my tummy has felt enormous. I suspect it's all bloat rather than bump, especially as it's my first baby, but I do look pregnant....though in a lumpy fatty sort of way rather than a nice serene bump sort of way...
