Indomitable I know what you mean about worrying about feeling fine then actually realising u don't feel fine, just less bleurgh. I've felt much better since about 8 weeks, scanned at 9 weeks and all ok. Since then only remaining symptom was tender breasts and even they aren't as bad this last week. Still occasionally feel really yucky though. So anxious about Scan tomorrow. I know I'm being paranoid but I mc a good few years ago at 12+1 and I guess I just won't relax this pregnancy until I can actually feel movement from baby.

I had my scan and they dated me as due on feb 22nd - Argh! Thought it was March 5th so had to laugh. So now I'm 15.2 (does this mean I'm due first? If so I'm terrified ha!)

I also got a new pillow - one of the V shaped ones. It's changed my life I want to carry it around with me during the day but worried that society isn't ready for that yet. Boooo!

Hi everyone : )) This is my first pregnancy and my estimated due date is 29th March. I am feeling like many of you.. Fat bloated tummy, sick, tired, boobs hurt, can't sleep ! To top it off I also have type 1 diabetes just to add to it all. My scan is 18th sept and I am literally counting down the days as I am so nervous. It seems so so far away !!!

Re the screening - I'm having it, because as selfish as it sounds, I wouldn't continue the pregnancy if it was bad news. I probably would if it was my first baby, but not now I have three other children to look after.

Sooo many baby dreams last night... i dreamt about the scan, and dreamt I had a boy - whose father was Prince William

Seems strange having all these Kats on here as I have to admit that is my real name!

Indomitable I bought the £9 argos body pillow yesterday. It was nice but ended up on the floor!?

Hello everyone! I had my '12' week scan yesterday. Was supposed to be 12 weeks on the dot (from a 6 week scan I had at EPAU) but I'm actually 13+5 so I know how you feel Jules! So new due date is 4th March. Any due date buddies out there?
I'm having the screening, my NT measurement was 2.9mm (which is ok I think) so fingers crossed for my results in a week.

Ginger, hope everything goes ok today, can't believe all the worry you've been put through. Hope you get some answers soon.

Lovely way to start scan day for me! Woke up at 6 bursting for the loo, as I always do, managed to doze again without getting up til 7 o'clock. Goes for a pee and fills my sample bottles for my appt today and then proceeds to be really sick. Have never been sick due to pregnancy in any of my pregnancies so hoping it's a one off. Was sick a few weeks ago but I was feeling rubbish that day so not blaming it on the pregnancy. This morning I'm hoping was just nerves.

Fab for those that have been put forward, I'd love to go today and be put forward. Even a few days would be nice.

I'll be checking for scan updates from u all today too! I'll be on once I'm out to update you all. I'm so nervous, you'd think I'd never done this before. But then, if it were my first time I probably wouldn't be nervous

Aagghhh Missdee I was supposed to wee in the sample pot and totally forgot! Right, I've got until half 11ish to drink, wee in pot, and fill bladder again...

Can't believe you werr randomly sick today! I have diarrhoea EVERY morning, wtf?

Awch that should be plenty time to fill a bottle. I had two for some reason and I'm sure they were to be mid stream. I was worried I wouldn't have enough but turned out I had enough to probably fill about 20 of them lol

Isn't it. Hope it's not a sign of things to come! I hate being sick. Diaorrhea everyday is odd?! Have u mentioned it to anyone? Mw or GP? I've never heard of that being common in pregnancy.

Or just take the sample bottle with you and fill it after your scan? Sure they'll be fine with that.

Good luck to everyone having scans today!

I got my nuchal results back yesterday, I'd really been worried about something being wrong, partly i think because i wouldn't have known what to do. With something like downs syndrome you can never know how severe it will be, so you could end up with a child able to live a normal life or a child who has no chance of that. My results were thankfully good news, low risk, and I'm massively relieved. Think I can start to relax a bit now, and am starting to mix a few maternity bits into my wardrobe too

Misdee - problem solved, it's filled. Forgot pregnant women tend to pee a lot! You do normally do it after the scan (let's face it, you've got a full bladder to empty) but I hate having to wee with a midwife waiting for me so wanted to get it done.

Oh god, really?! I'd be way too embarrassed to mention it to anyone! But literally since the day after my BFP instead of running to the toilet to be sick every morning I have diarrhoea erm... it.... keeps the weight off I suppose?!

I'm v envious of people whose dates were brought forward at the 13 week scan. I was put back 3 days which is a bit annoying. I know it's only 3 days and baby probably won't arrive on due date anyway but still!

Great news suz I have 5 more days until my scan, and can't stop thinking negatively about it.
We have agreed on names and found a beautiful sleepsuit in baby ted baker in a sale for like £9 so I really want to buy it but I have to wait because I keep thinking all this happiness just to be told nope is all wrong (told you I'm a pessimist)
We are having the screening purely to know and prepare, we are already aware that 3 of dp's cousins were born deaf so know that's also a possibility for us so would like to rule out whatever we can as soon as possible.

Beautiful with DS I had similar bowels, as opposed to the constipation everyone tells about.

This time I've swung between one and the other.

If you're unsure, get checked out. But it seemed pretty normal for me.

Last day of the holidays today. DS is super excited about starting school tomorrow. I'm still in denial.

I think I've broken the washing machine. I've been catching up, it's been a bit busy this week! Oops

lilmissie I will without a doubt be put back at this scan. Will report back later but I can guarantee it. According to LMP I'm due March 6th but I reckon it'll be March 8th at the earliest.

Indomitable so glad you had a similar 'issue' to me, ha.

Don't know if anyone remembers I was having to go to the scan alone - but one of my best friends has just told me she can come! So pleased.

I'm having a particularly bleurgh day today. DC have watched nearly an hour of cbeebies already, they think all their birthdays have come at once but I'm wondering just how much might be too much...!?
