Oh loads of my names have been vetoed. If it was up to me ds would have been Tobias or Theodore, dh hated everything I liked and vice versa. We ended up with a name from neither of our lists. I think we both quite like Hector this time but I'm not convinced. Girls are much easier!

WingingIt1 · 11/08/2015 21:45

Hello, just wanted to join! Due 25th March so 8weeks on Friday. This will be baby no.2, my DS is 2.2 and is proudly telling everyone mummy has a baby in belly! Smile

sepa · 11/08/2015 21:48

Can't believe how organised you are with discussing names. OH refuses to really talk till 12 week scan!
I do have some girls names I like but only one that I LOVED for a boy until I actually found out I was preggo. Has anyone else had this?

WingingIt1 · 11/08/2015 21:51

Yeah boys names are definitely harder I think! I've got lots for a girl but only a couple for a boy.

Are you finding out the sex if possible or having a surprise? We had a surprise last time but I would quite like a girl this time so I don't know if it's better to find out (if we can) or wait??!

Missdee2014 · 11/08/2015 22:04

9am Beautiful so nice and early ???? When's yours?

Trinpy · 12/08/2015 08:36

Great news on the scans miss and Rosie!

I'm glad we're not the only ones getting overexcited and discussing names already! Last time we agreed on one boys name we liked straight away but no girls names - we had a boy; this time we decided on a girls name straight away but can't agree on a boys name. So hopefully we'll get lucky again and it will be a girl!

sorry for the double post! stupid phone.

Mrsrsw · 12/08/2015 10:34

Starting to feel nervous about tomorrow's scan now - think I'm more scared about tomorrow than any of them as if prepared myself for bad news on the other 2 whereas tomorrow I'm hoping everything is ok. At least it's at 9am so first in.

Just want everything to be ok so I can go back to being excited about the baby!

Mrsrsw · 12/08/2015 10:35

We had discussed a few names but all baby talk has been on hold for the last 2 weeks or so!

sepa · 12/08/2015 10:52

I don't think we will find out the sex as I honestly don't mind what we have so I think a surprise will be fun.

Jenbee1 · 12/08/2015 11:20

Hi everyone. I'm a bit late to the party as I've only just found out and likely to be late march/early April edd, but I doubt I'll go full term so I hope it's ok if I hang out here. Love hearing about all the names x

maybebabybee · 12/08/2015 11:23

Morning all

welcome Jen

Had my booking appointment today...been classified as low risk so that's good. And got my 12 week scan date - 3rd Sept, eek! :)

Rosieblossom123 · 12/08/2015 11:43

Miss great news :) isn't it amazing seeing seeing your little bean? I was in tears couldn't believe it :)

Paper really what time? so excited too it'll be lovely to see the difference! The doctor said in two weeks time baby will look completely different!

maybe same here i've been classed as low risk, so exciting that everyone is getting their scans through :) we're nearly going to be waving bye to the first trimester :D

Regarding names we decided if it's a boy he'll be called Atticus and if it's a girl either Allianna or Arabella.

missnatalie · 12/08/2015 12:31

Found you all Grin.

I went to see my MW today and she found beanies heartbeat. Was so good to hear. Sounded like a galloping horse. Wasn't very loud, in fact it was quite faint but she said that was normal.

Have my 12w scan on August 31st when i will actually be 12w 5d.

Sickness still killing me Sad. Im hoping that it goes around the 12w mark.

Good luck to everyone having their scans this week.

Rosieblossom123 · 12/08/2015 12:44

I thought I'd paste the spreadsheet on here so we could update it?

Me624 · 12/08/2015 13:17

Any news mrs?

Rosie I love Arabella! The names we've tentatively picked are Edward for a boy or Isabella for a girl. We have quite a harsh surname that works fine with boys' names but for a girl I think it needs a really pretty feminine name. I am not totally convinced about Isabella at the moment but it's the only one we could agree on! we're planning to find out the sex so it might not be an issue!

marmitemofo · 12/08/2015 13:18

we're finding out the sex - we have no preference over sex of the baby, just impatient haha. my DP always says its a surprise whenever you find it out!

sickness has been awful this week, the worst week by a long way. I'm 10+1 going by LMP but 9+3 going by ov date, so I'm guessing I have another few weeks of this. I think ms peaks around 8-10 weeks? just willing away the weeks at the moment, i hate wishing my life away but christ I feel awful Sad

maybebabybee · 12/08/2015 13:20

Boy's names are hard - I like lots of them but DH is really picky with boy's names for some reason so at the moment the only one we can agree on is Max.

For girl's names our top choices are Sephy and Iola.

maybebabybee · 12/08/2015 13:22

sorry to hear you're feeling crap marmite - it sucks doesn't it!

I'm not sick like you are but I'm really off almost all food but yet constantly starving. So feel like I am getting a very unfair deal - having to shove my gob all the time but not enjoying any of it!

BeautifulLiar · 12/08/2015 13:44

It's at 12pm, so enough time for babysitter to get here and time for me to be excited but then I've got the rest of the afternoon to hopefully be on cloud 9 Smile

I like Stanley but DH doesn't. He's hoping we'll name a boy after him, like he was named after his dad, but no fucking way and he knows i won't back down!

Girl's name will almost undoubtedly be Nancy. I'm pretty sure DH only makes girls so should get to use it Grin

LaraNotCroft22 · 12/08/2015 14:59

Just had my 12 week scan!
All is well, measuring more than I thought at 11+6 so edd 25/2. Going to stay with you march ladies though if that's ok :-)

I feel so relieved. Saw a heartbeat and little legs and feet and mouth. Amazing. On cloud nine now Smile

LCR77 · 12/08/2015 15:01

DP was useless at choosing names last time round so I got my own way. Think he wants to be more involved this time round. Bugger. He chooses really safe options though which are ok but not my cup of tea. My argument is always that they get his surname so I should get more say on the other names!

My favourites so far are Etta or Lyra for a girl and Hugo or Theo for a boy. I'd like a Welsh middle name too to represent my dad's side of the family - I think he'll go for that. The first name's are going to be more of a challenge. Think I'll wait till we find out the sex before any proper discussions.

maybebabybee · 12/08/2015 15:03

Great news Lara, congratulations :)

LCR77 · 12/08/2015 15:04

Congrats Lara it's so lovely seeing them on the scan and such a relief too.
