Why why why did I just stand on the scales?!? I've gained 14.5kg and have six weeks to go! So I will probably end up with an 18kg gain. Oops. Last time it was more like 20kg but I never really lost it all so this time I really am going to have to shift loads! That's a long summer of lengthy walks ahead...

FeelingBlessed77 · 23/03/2015 10:34

Thanks Tits. just marking my place.

Titsalinabumsquash · 23/03/2015 10:38

I have gained 2 stone! DP and I have agreed to use the summer to sort it out together, he always gains a few lbs with each of my pregnancies too. At least we have the summer for walks and to be outside rather than forcing ourselves out into the cold to the gym or similar.

Thanks tits

The thread title smacked me over the head with one hell of a reality check ha ha

I think I have gained nearly 2 stone, although am not weighing myself any more, as the others said to me, step away from the scales bean

Tori I am not surprised you are cross with him, I would be well and truly pi$$ed off if my DH did that! I have to leave him very specific lists when I am away otherwise nothing will get done... especially bad of him when he knows you are in pain

leanne963 · 23/03/2015 12:06

Oh tori That does suck, but please don't over do it if you have been told to rest :( look after yourself! Unfortunately it is the other way round in this household, DP is the cleaner and i am the 'do it tomorrow' type of person.

Bean I don't know how much i have gained :S i don't know what my weight was before or what it is now, i think i would be shocked lol

Whooping Cough Jab tomorrow! Yay, needles and blood taking are becoming a part of every day life now isnt it ha!

applecore0317 · 23/03/2015 12:16

I had a phobia of needles before this leanne... since getting pregnant it's seems to have gone :D

My pregnancy brain has well and truly kicked in, I made a Chilli con carne on Saturday night, and realised yesterday that I hadn't put Kidney beans in... have never made a chilli without kidney beans...

Then was just thinking of something I wanted to ask on here, and went to type and it's gone completely out of my head

gingerfluffball · 23/03/2015 12:34

Thanks tits Smile

Leanne make sure you get your jab on the side you don't sleep on - got mine last week in my left arm and spent the next two nights cursing myself because it was too achy to sleep comfortably on my usual left side! Fingers crossed you have no side effects at all but just in case!

Chookford · 23/03/2015 12:59

ginger thanks for the tip, mine is on Thursday so will remember that!

leanne963 · 23/03/2015 13:30

Ooooh Thanks ginger will def have a think! I sometimes sleep better on my right side so i might get it on my left!

Aww apple you have my sympathy! Baby brain should be a recognised condition and should stand up as a defense in court haha I swear i am a danger to myself with this stupid fuzzy minded baby brain!

piglet81 · 23/03/2015 14:02

I've got baby brain too - definitely starting to lose track of things these days!

Thanks for the new thread :-)

My hypnobirthing book and dvd arrived today :)

Bazza2 · 23/03/2015 18:32

I had my whooping cough today. I normally get such an achy arm after, but the nurse said to move my arm around a lot after and it might hurt a bit less.
