Hello all,

Oh 1becomes3! at evil, jealous ex-wife bitch and co. But at your self control.

Sorry to hear about your gran laith.

Sorry your having a time of it with you sil mammyjo.

OH and ggf give dh a swift slap on the back of his head from all us mnetters for being so inconsiderate.

Well DD has the runs so potty training is out of the question for now. Having to take her to the docs in ten mins as she has had it for a week and nothing I do seems to help. Now she has a bad nappy rash to top it all off, poor baby can't walk properly and cry's everytime I change her bum... I just hope the docs can help. Cos I feel so helpless and for her.

CD well done on your brave step into the world of potty training. As soon a lo is better I will be joining you with the pooey/pissy floor and clothes.

Have my next scan on the 21st of nov and will find out what sex the baby is. Oh and on wednesday have the downs and spinal abifida blood tests so fingers crossed all is well with bean.

17weeks

bubblez · 30/10/2006 11:37

sorry was too late posting on last thread.

And I forgot to say....

What a relief for you AngeG I'm glad you will get the motitoring that you need...

Bugmum will be right here with you worring about the same results.... fingers crossed for the both of us...

And 1becomes3 two is a double all the good, just remember that when people make them stupid thoughtless coments about 'double trouble' etc. As long as you get yourself into a routeen that suits you you will be fine... trust me, twins are very common in my family...

Ok off to take lO to docs be back lata.... take care..

Smole · 30/10/2006 11:45

Haven't posted for ages but am I the only one still throwing up. I'm 16+3 now and thought it would have stopped.

1becomes3 · 30/10/2006 11:50

Thanks ladies for all the support has made me feel so much better.
second trimester and it seems as though the homeones are crazy in the lot of us.
I keep hearing myself ranting at Dh and thinking "god just shut up" but its no use when I get going there is no stopping me.
I think I have double the hormones, which means double the CRAZY!

Just remembered I have my appointment with the consultant on wed. Yea. I hope I get a scan appointment aswell.

Greengirlforever · 30/10/2006 11:51

Hooray for new thread! Well done Bramshott.

My 20-wk scan is on 20th November.

Smole - unfortunately you do hear of people who are sick for the first 4-5 months or even longer.... I still get nauseous (tmi) twinges from time to time but am definitely over the worst. Hope things clear up for you soon.

emned · 30/10/2006 11:53

Hello All!
I'm a bit new to all this so you'll have to forgive me if I don't fully understand all the abbreviations!
I'm due on 3rd April 2007 and it's my first so very excited but also a tad nervous as lost one at the beginning of the year at 12 weeks. Obviously passed that stage now but had some aching for most of Friday that started me worrying again!! Put it down to the fact that we moved house that week so had just been a little hectic.
Had bloods and relief they were fine and got my detailed scan on 15th November so looking forward to that. Decided not to find out the sex as secretly I think we would both like a boy but know once Maggot arrives we won't care as long as it's healthy!
Had my first wedding anniversary yesterday but as house we were going for fell through we're living with MIL temporarily it wasn't quite how I'd imagined spending it I must admit but never mind. Cross fingers the house we're now going for will go through by xmas!!!!!!!

Sexonlegs · 30/10/2006 11:55

Lovely new thread and love the name!
Smole, I have gratefully not been sick, but still feel awful - have to eat constantly to stave off feeling sick. Still getting shocker headaches as well. I am only 14 + 2 though so a wee bit behind you and most others.
Hope you feel better soon. xx

weeonion · 30/10/2006 12:00

emned - welcome to this thread. congrats on yr maggot and belated happy anniversary!

emned · 30/10/2006 12:07

Ta weeonion!
While I'm on. Anybody come from the Bury st Edmunds/Suffolk area as new to area and this baby lark not sure what's available. Is the West Suffolk my only choice for the birth?

twinkle183 · 30/10/2006 12:09

Ahem a new thread - was getting lost with the last one!!!!

17+2

geordiemacminx · 30/10/2006 12:14

SOL - glad you mentioned headaches.. I am in agony most days at the moment - was beginining to think I had a brain tumour!!!!

Still being sick, although not feeling as sick which is nice, managed to eat 5 slices of m&s ham and pineapple pizza last night which I was amazed at!!!

1becomes3 · 30/10/2006 12:15

congrats emned, and welcome!

CaptainDippy · 30/10/2006 12:16

Thanks honey!! Hormones definitely raging in DippyLand right now!!!!

1becomes3 · 30/10/2006 12:17

geordiemacminx- i am exactly the same with the headaches, and I had them with DD as well I think if i remember rightly they tend to dissapear around the 20 week point. Fingers crossed

CaptainDippy · 30/10/2006 12:17

Welcome emned!!

emned · 30/10/2006 12:20

Ta 1becomes3!

Luckily not had MS just felt sick unless I eat lamb which was always my favourite but since pregnancy makes me as sick as a dog!!! Shame a chicken Rogan Josh just isn't the same!!

Anybody felt definite movement yet as not sure if I have!! Not had anything that feels like butterflies. Can it feel like anything else??!!

1becomes3 · 30/10/2006 12:30

emned- My two are moving around quite a bit although ever time they do the make me windy!

WaspElly · 30/10/2006 12:35

Welcome to emned & others,

1b3 - double the fun and entertainment for each other don't listen to the -ve people

Liath my gran died last Jan too - she was one of the first to know I was pg at all, which I am SOO pleased about. Wept buckets & buckets at the Royle Family (esp as my close cousin Ralf is "Ant") and must have reminded him about Nannan tremendously too. Mind you the similarities are scarey between their "Nan" and our "Nannan", but the wake was better for ours iykwim.
My dh is really getting it in the neck at the moment too, mainly for being useless, and I know the extra work he's doing at the moment is laying the foundations for a better job next year - but I just wish he'd TELL me when he's planning (in his head) to be out most of one day of the weekend.
I ended out walking out of the house & slamming the front door last night went round to a friends for refuge for an hour or so and left everything un-done 'til today. (sigh) what a joy to return home to from work - especially as ds was actually attempting to dres himself to get to childminders rather than spend another day at home with us sniping at each other!)

WaspElly · 30/10/2006 12:37

Emned - I didn't feel anything last time until 20th week or so (anterior placenta in the way) but even then I'd say it felt more like indigestion rumbling..
This time, a whole load earlier (16 weeks) and a bit more like butterflies/fluttery with the odd very definate prod.

emned · 30/10/2006 12:41

Oh dear WaspElly!
Blame it all on the hormones and start again tomorrow!!!!

1becomes3 · 30/10/2006 12:51

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DH is in sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much trouble, DD has just come into the room with blood streaming out of her mouth and DH's razor in her hand!!!!!!!!! I AM GOING TO KILL HIM.

thank god its only a tiny cut on her tounge and she doesn't seem to care, but razor cuts bleed so much and it could have been sooooooooooo much worse!

Does any one know? Has there ever been a conviction for a hormone related killing?

pesha · 30/10/2006 12:54

Hi all, sorry to hear so many people are having a bad time of it,
And hello emned, baby movements can feel like wind! 1st time i felt it i really wasnt sure what it was but then you feel it more and a bit stronger over the next few days/weeks and realise for sure what it is but with 1st baby i think they say anything between around 18 and 20something weeks, how many weeks are you?

My dp is really getting on my nerves at the mo, sometimes he's being lovely and really sweet but need to make him realise that taking the mick and winding me up really winds me up. Its so weird i know im getting irrationally cross and moody with him but theres absolutely nothing i can do to stop it! And we've been talking about xmas and he's got football boxing day which i was expecting cos he always does but now he's saying the football lads are organising a golf day and that might be xmas eve. One day at xmas i dont mind but 2 is too much when we've got two dcs to think of, xmas is meant to be bout the kids. And he wants to go on tour with football lot to amsterdam for a long weekend in june but ill deal with that one nearer the time!

Got some maternity trousers and a skirt from next clearance yesterday for £7 each which i was chuffed with as am totally skint, im spending money i havent got at the moment so dont know whats gonna happen in next couple of weeks with bills going out but nevermind, not thinking about that now

I am still being sick every morning and have gone back to feeling nauseous all day and have slight headaches and stiff neck too and feeling ill really which is getting me down a bit now as i have so much to do. With dd i was sick the whole way through, it got bit better in the middle but i didnt go a week without being sick the whole time. I was so convinced that wouldnt happen this time as i was having a really rough time with my then partner so thought it was prob made worse by stress and things are so much better now so i thought my ms would be too but now im starting to wonder.

pesha · 30/10/2006 13:00

1b3 my ds did that last year with dps razor, cut his top lip slightly and there was blood everywhere. Men are so bloody useless arent they and my dp doesnt even live here but ive still got his crap lying around everywhere
