Morning everyone
Really can't get comfortable now. At night on the sofa I feel like I just want to get up and walk around, and in the mornings in bed I struggle to have a lie in because I can't get a comfortable position and start to get restless legs
I just can't justify getting out of bed yet though when I have nothing to do!
I don't have a plan for today, not sure how I feel about it! I need to clean my car out at some point but that's about it. I don't want to keep spending money so I can't even justify going to the shops! Hmm. On Fridays I feel like a hang around in limbo, never sure whether my other half is going to go for a drink after work, and feel silly asking him this early on because I suppose he doesn't know himself. So I never know whether to cook dinner, or whether were going to get a takeaway, or whether I'll just be cooking for myself... I'm not a massive fan of Fridays as you can tell
Annia yes I suppose so! If the midwives aren't worrying then I shouldn't either. I have the same routine as you, it seems!
Daholster RE asthma and eczema - when we were younger, my brother had the asthma and I had the eczema. We were a right pair! He also had bad croup a lot - you know the coughing thing? I remember it sounding terrible
as he got older though he did grow out of if all, which obviously I understand may or may not happen. I agree with the preservatives thing on the eczema front (could be asthma too but no personal experience). Unfortunately as I've got older I've kept the eczema, which has developed into dermatitis, although only on my hands/wrists which really can only be controlled and doesn't actually go away! Even with the help of steroid creams and topical moisturiser, which I go through tubs and tubes of. But along the way I have learnt that I'm 'allergic' to things such as dust and 'tree pollen' (wth?!). Obviously these things are hard to avoid so it's just a case of getting on with it, but diet and nutrition definitely plays a part too. Such as when I've had bouts of drinking mainly just water and cutting out other drinks, my skin tends to clear up a lot. It's just hard to keep up with
Hope your little one feels better soon. You're definitely not a bad mummy, look how worried you are!
FiRaffe you got some lovely things there! I like the use of the printing kit
Brixton congrats on the house! No carpal tunnel here but I can sympathise as my mum had suffered with this in the past few years, and had to have the operation. It still didn't fully work though and she often gets pain with it still, especially in the cold. She has to wrap her hands up when driving with gloves, and tries not to keep her hands in one position for a length of time, and clenches and unclenches her hands a lot.
