I just got my BFP yesterday whilst on my honeymoon! I'm due 23rd May, if all goes well.

Had hoped it'd take a bit longer to fall, but seems nature wanted it sooner! Grin Congrats to all!

HariboBrenshnio · 19/09/2014 09:25

Congratulations Deftones! 23rd of May is my birthday - good date!

Marking my place in the new thread Smile

Royalsteph · 19/09/2014 09:36

wow. that list is long and I'm sure will get longer. can you change mine to DC#3 next time please? Grin

Mslad · 19/09/2014 09:39

Hello all. I'm just marking my place. I'm mostly just tired and bloated. The first trimester is hard, it feels like a long waiting game.

Ella I'm so sorry to hear your news. How awful for you. the only thing that will help is time, so take care of yourself and allow yourself to hurt. Flowers

Threesoundslikealot · 19/09/2014 09:49

Ellie I'm so sorry. What a horrible week. I hope you're being looked after.

Hello, Deftones!

Let the sickness begin, how appropriate. It looks like yesterday's horrible nausea was a bug as I've been chucking up all night, but I've woken up with the same old queasiness so no idea if it's passed and I'm back to normal or still going on! I'm eating plain crackers and sipping water, and still in bed.

Deftones · 19/09/2014 10:10

Ooo forgot to say this will be DC2! I have a 6 year old DD.

Thanks Grin Now to try and remember what happens all over again ;)

KittyVonCatsington · 19/09/2014 10:11

Elleybear Sending you love and wishes - so sorry you had to go through this. Thanks

Thanks for the new thread (Haribo)

BB01 · 19/09/2014 10:28

Am so very sorry to hear that Elley. Look after yourself and take time off if you feel that's what you need. Thinking of you xx

BB01 · 19/09/2014 10:28

Hope you feel better very soon Three

piglet81 · 19/09/2014 12:37

Marking my place - thank you for the new thread. Good wishes to everyone suffering...

mrsdiddlydoo · 19/09/2014 13:31

Elleybear Thanks Sending lots of love and positive wishes. Please don't go to work on Monday. You must take all the time you need in the world to deal with this. Hope you have some RL support xx

mrsdiddlydoo · 19/09/2014 13:31

Thanks for the new thread Haribo. Marking my place so I don't lose you all.

Thisisrock · 19/09/2014 13:41

Turquoisetamborine · 19/09/2014 13:50

Elleybear so sorry. Take care of yourself and don't even think about work on Monday xx

Drewanna · 19/09/2014 14:43

ElleyBear - so sorry to hear your news. Take compassionate leave next week. You need time to recover and grieve. Xxxx

Jenni2legs · 19/09/2014 15:34

yay had my scan yesterday and saw a tiny little heartbeat l. so it's not another molar pregnancyGrin
EDD 13th May, but having a c-section so probably around the sixth. Bern told I will be having a consultant led pregnancy not midwife led, so interested in what that will entail.

LinaDee · 19/09/2014 15:39

Congrats jenni!
So reassuring to see that little flicker of a heart beat.
It really just means you will be monitored more closely during your labour. If you're having a c section that needs a consultant rather than just a me Smile

Ameilius · 19/09/2014 16:32

Oh Elley I'm so sorry to hear that. You definitely shouldn't think about going to work on Monday, you should take all the time you feel you need.

Justyouwaitandsee · 19/09/2014 16:36

Hi elleybear - so sorry to hear your news. I definitely agree that you might want to call in sick next week.

Well done and thanks for starting the new thread haribo

BB01 · 19/09/2014 16:57

Great news, Jenni!

BeanCalledPickle · 19/09/2014 18:27

My ED is 7th May but I'll be an ELCS so a week or so before I guess. Have felt bloody awful recently. So glad I can go to work and just sit at desk rather than deal with DD all day!

jenni you will see the consultant at 16 and 32 weeks instead of midwife. Or rather you will see one of their registrars. Pretty standard if ELCS planned. Also pointless as the reason I'm having a section is not because of anything to do with pregnancy, just because I've had operations in the area making natural birth a bad idea!

HariboBrenshnio · 19/09/2014 19:45

Oh Elley so sorry to hear your news. Look after yourself this week, i hope you can take some time off.

Fab news Jenni! Must be so reassuring :)

I had a ELCS last time, unsure if i will this time. Still need to register with my doctors!! No symptoms here yet other than my boobs bulging out of my bra and falling asleep anywhere and everywhere!

OP posts:
NoRoomForALittleOne · 19/09/2014 19:53

Jenni it depends on why you are consultant led and why you need a c-section. I will first see the consultant at about 12 weeks. I may not see them again until 34ish weeks but will then likely see then every 1-2 weeks. I expect that the consultant him/herself will see me at some point because I'm a bit complicated and I know my mind! I do expect some proper discussion about my/baby's care that is evidence based not just what will make the consultant's life easy. I may not be popular Grin

madpixie · 19/09/2014 20:10

Hello, I'm new here and this is my first post. I've been through IVF successfully and been given a due date of 06/05/15. I'm very cautious though as I feel it's still early days. Do you feel like that?
