I was the opposite. I felt like I was burning up. I'm normally a chilly person but I had the air on in my room cranked up to the max to the extent that kfzk was shivering under blankets! It was very odd.

FrankelandFilly · 27/09/2014 06:57

Hope you're having lovely snuggles this morning Bugs Grin

SinkyMalinks · 27/09/2014 07:37
Grin
FrankelandFilly · 27/09/2014 07:43

Excellent news Bugs, not long to go now Grin

JethroTull · 27/09/2014 07:56

Yay! Go Bugs

maamalady · 27/09/2014 08:02

Looking good, bugs, hope all goes smoothly today!

I too got the shakes - only when the epidural was turned up quite high, and during the section itself. I was so preoccupied with clenching my jaw because my teeth were chattering so hard, that the arrival of the calf was almost unremarkable Hmm

ALittleFaith · 27/09/2014 08:03

Ooh bugs not long to go now! You can do it! :)

Fankletastic · 27/09/2014 08:39

Go Bugs!! Nearly there Grin

CuntyChops · 27/09/2014 08:58

How exciting Bugs! Hope everything goes smoothly today!

I have been lurking but not posting as work is absolutely insane at the moment and I'm working from home a lot when I get in from school.

We had the 20 week scan yesterday and found out that minichops is a boy! I thought I'd feel a bit disappointed as I'd convinced myself it was a girl, but he was so cute and active during the scan and I'm really happy and excited! He was stroking his face and grabbing his toes Grin

Hope everyone is doing well!

SinkyMalinks · 27/09/2014 09:11

Boys are the best cunty Wink - congrats!

FrankelandFilly · 27/09/2014 09:15

We need a few more blue ones to balance things out! Congrats cunty Grin

MissHobart · 27/09/2014 09:17

Fucking hell Bugs! Where did that come from!?! Good Luck! Buglet by lunchtime!! Grin

I've just started lurking, I'll update later!

TheOriginalWinkly · 27/09/2014 09:42

MissH! Have we missed a nipple tassles opportunity?

bugs you're nearly there!!

My period came yesterday. Outraged. HWCA said that means I'm ready to have another baby Hmm Errrrm, nope.

Hags! Fank you so much for the hamper. GHJ says it's his hamper as he's the one with the scar. So I'm going to hide it.

And cartmel sticky toffee pudding is my fave!

You really are a top bunch.

And how's that cervix getting along bugs?

FrankelandFilly · 27/09/2014 10:56

Grin You totally deserve it after everything you've been through in recent weeks Sinks

ALittleFaith · 27/09/2014 10:56

Ooh it came! I'm so glad you like it :) to clarify, it is to share except the sticky toffee pudding which you should hide and eat with vanilla ice cream, Mmm

Welcome MissH, how nice to see you here ;)

Before Faithlet we had a run of boys, since then we've had mostly girls. Funny how it goes. I do wonder if there's anything in the assisted/unassisted conception that sways the stats? Anyway, a boy cunty!!! I had my nephew yesterday, boys are ace :)

eurochick · 27/09/2014 12:17

Cunty that's brilliant news!

missh lovely to see you over here.

winks are you boob feeding? If so, that is outrageous. I'm only a couple of weeks behind you and would be gutted to get a period soon.

Sinks it sounds like he is on the mend, which is great. I hope things are getting a bit better for all of you.

faif IVF baybees are slightly more likely to be boys, apparently, as the embryos divide more quickly and clinics see this as "better"

Oooh congratulations!! Another esh girlie! How lovely :) glad she is safely here, you must both be over the moon and you so deserve it. Enjoy the snuggles

GingerScouse · 27/09/2014 13:13

Aaah! Another pink one! Well done bugs!!

Fankletastic · 27/09/2014 13:15

Ooh congratulations to you both!! Hope you're ok Bugs...and is GP from Sheffield by any chance?!

Such lovely news! Well done Bugs Grin

katandkits · 27/09/2014 13:26

Missed your post cunty congratulations on a good scan. Baby boys are ace. So are girls in fact. Babies of both flavours are ace. I did used to love seeing them wriggling around on the scan.

winks how annoying about the droid. I was 4 months last time. Expecting similar this time due to missing some night feeds. The great hair shedding started this morning.

CuntyChops · 27/09/2014 13:48

Congratulations Bugs and GP!! Hope you both get some well deserved rest and lovely snuggles now Grin

Good to see you MissH

I'm really loving the idea of having a boy now, and have spent the day so far looking at boy clothes and getting colour ideas for the nursery (other than blue, which still seems the most common colour for boys).

Has anyone had to do any preparation with their dog before bringing baby home? We met with a dog trainer this week as our dog is going to need some work beforehand - he's lovely but barks quite a bit when excited and is used to being the centre of attention. Advice or tips would be appreciated!

I've attached a scan pic - we've been lucky to get such clear pictures!
