Massive congrats to both Bugs and GP, and thanks for updating us Grin

Winks, sorry about the droid. I'm still waiting for mine so the GP has given me tablets to give it a kick up the arse!

MsJupiter · 27/09/2014 14:29

Congrats Bugs and GP! Truly fantastic news. Thanks

FriendofDorothy · 27/09/2014 14:29

What wonderful news all round.

Told you 37 weeks was just a perfect cooking time for a baby!

ALittleFaith · 27/09/2014 15:04

Fantastic, a lovely little girl! Congratulations to you both :)

Cunty your baybee looks scrummy!

cherrycoconut · 27/09/2014 15:44

maamalady · 27/09/2014 15:54

Congratulations bugs and GP! Lovely news! Flowers Grin

Hurrah cunty! Glad the scan was good :) When bugs is feeling up to it she might be able to give you some advice regarding the dog (or at least, what they did with theirs).

eurochick · 27/09/2014 18:32

Congratulations bugs! Enjoy your newborn snuggles. X

JethroTull · 27/09/2014 19:39

katandkits · 27/09/2014 21:14

Well done! Sorry things got a bit scary but that is over now and you have your little buglet in your arms. Hope you are making a good recovery. Has she got a name yet?

Nokkie73 · 27/09/2014 21:51

Oh bugs that is wonderful news. Full doctors arm up your foof, not so good but thank god for an epidural. I could have had a marching band up there after mine and wouldn't have noticed.

Cannot wait for pictures on t'other place. You have an AKSHUL BAYBEE. Whoop whoop.

Hello everyone else. Cor blimey, it's sprog central round here.

eurochick · 28/09/2014 06:29

Congratulations bugs! Sorry for the scariness. At that weight mothercare tiny baby stuff should be perfect (5-7.5lb). I hope you are recovering well.

FrankelandFilly · 28/09/2014 09:44

A quick swing by to say HWHNN is home! He crawled into bed at 3am this morning so is a bit tired! I may go AWOL for a short while, but I just wanted to say a big thank you to all of you for being my virtual shoulder to cry on and helping me get through these last 4 months. The ESH rock Grin

eurochick · 28/09/2014 10:18

Aw, more good news on the thread! Awesome. :)

SinkyMalinks · 28/09/2014 14:54

Great news frank - you seem to have coped brilliantly! You'll really enjoy the next few days/weeks!

katandkits · 28/09/2014 18:29

Brilliant news! I hope he has a nice chunk of leave now to spend with you. Enjoy your time together :)

I suspect by tomorrow night she will want to feed rather more often than every three hours! The night before your milk comes in can be mental. Both times I was up half the night feeding on and off non stop. Rest as much as you can in the meantime between feeds.

FriendofDorothy · 28/09/2014 21:25

I generally still feed more often than three hourly!

TheOriginalWinkly · 29/09/2014 07:26

How was your first night at home bugs? Hope Buglet let you have a little sleep.

katandkits · 29/09/2014 08:05

The little kitty has obviously been influenced by all this chat of newborns and decided to sleep like one last night. I hope this is not the four Month regression come early!

bugs hope your night went well.

TheOriginalWinkly · 29/09/2014 08:25

Sympathies kat! MiniWink has been sleeping really rather well this week, but has developed a somewhat worrying cough - she was gagging and spluttering when she woke up, and has had a dry barking cough a few times. Just waiting for the doctors surgery to open to make an appointment. Hopefully I'm just being pfb about a cold.

frank hope you and HWHNN are having an amazing catch up!

euro I am boob feeding but I missed about 14 hours of feeds when I was in hospital a few weeks ago, which apparently was enough to trigger

Fankletastic · 29/09/2014 08:45

Ooh what a lovely scan photo Cunty! A boy?! Woohoo! You should hopefully be able to control the menkul a bit more now...I found that after my 20 (well 22 week) scan - had to return as Fanklet was uncooperative the 1st time...that didn't make me worry at all - as I knew everything was fine after that. Although we didn't get a very good photo from that scan. The 12 week one was better. Great news though! Have you felt any movement yet?

I'm 26 weeks today. Where have the last 10 weeks gone?! Thanks everyone for your comments on what to buy, especially re buggies. I do like the vista but also like the silver cross pioneer. It's their new model for 2014 so there aren't a great deal of reviews out there about it...but the reviews I have read were all good too. Still it seems that uppababy wins more votes from the BESH.

bugs glad you are home now and hoping you have managed some rest and recuperation. What a wonderful feeling it must be bringing your new - and hard won - baby home with you. Enjoy!

Hope you're ok MissH
