Doh they should've been smiley faces :)

TheOriginalWinkly · 12/01/2015 14:01

Rasp! What wonderful news :) Fx they will match you quickly. What a great start to the year :)

fank aw boo. Get more drucks anyway. Induction isn't so bad, especially if your hospital offers a mobile epidural.

Anyone want to start a new fred pls?

Quick drop in to see if fanks has laid?! Thinking of you!

I'll start a new thread ready for the BESH cluster diff! Grin (once I'm home in front of the laptop!)

Any theme suggestions?

Fankletastic · 15/01/2015 05:18

Thanks MissH
Nope, no baybee yet. I've now lost track of how overdue I am. No No, seriously ELEVEN DAYS!

Have just had to go in to the labour assessment unit as I thought my waters had broke in the night. In fact I pissed myself and didn't even realise Blush Blush Blush

However after some monitoring and a very uncomfortable sweep (#3) I'm now 2 cm dilated and having mild contractions. Although the frequency is tailing off now that I'm home Hmm so I'm going to try to get some sleep. Have had less than an hour's kip since I woke up in a wet patch Confused. Did I really have an incontinence episode??! Confused

Cringe

Oh the joys of pregnancy! I've taken to wearing tena liners to work already due to lack of quick toilet access Hmm

Sending you gushing woo vibes Fanks ! Grin

Fankletastic · 17/01/2015 12:33

Fuck me! I'm still fucking pregnant. And miserable. And grumpy. And emotional. And bored. And exhausted. And anxious.

Will this eeeeever end?!?

Was supposed to be heading to labour ward today to be induced (a great source of upset for me) and was told to phone this morning to see if there was a bed. The coordinator was on doctors rounds when I called so I was told she would call me back. That was 3 hours ago and still no call. Not sure whether to call again or just make the most of being at stuck home and hope contractions start naturally. Not that I think they are going to. This is one stubborn baby.

I walked 2-3 miles yesterday and was really stiff and sore round the pelvis for the rest of the day. I think my mucous plug is starting to come away very gradually, I'm getting lots of BH and some definite twinning with the odd dull period pain. But my lady bits are feeling swollen and sore which is putting me off having the sechs. MG is just too weirded out to do it. Which is also bugging me. I am finding him really annoying even though he's generally being great and cleaning the oven right now out of guilt I suspect because I made him feel bad about having 2 lie ins in a row whilst I'm awake early and unable to get back to sleep

I have one more ranitidine pill left for my heartburn. I've really made them last but I'm going to have to take it soon. I'm soo fucking sick of heartburn!!!!

Meh

Sorry for the long rant but I am feeling like a big heap of shit.

TheOriginalWinkly · 17/01/2015 13:00

You can buy smaller doses of ranitidine from the supermarket. Hope you get admitted soon and that the pessaries do the trick. If you end up on the drip (a) get the epidural in first and (b) make sure the blood pressure cuff goes on the opposite arm to the needle (trust me on that one.)

Good luck!

MissH we need that new fred before fank lays! Grin
