A few babies have already arrived, with more due to make their entrance soon, and it's not even September yet!

I'm just marking my place!

Lilone, I know it sounds a bit odd but to be honest I don't mind how I have it as long as we are both ok. It's more having a date that has scared me!!!!

Has anyone heard from Nazly? Feel quite worried about her.

holls I think that's a great attitude to have about it - certainly is the most important thing that you both are ok at the end of it! Having a definite date must certainly add some reality factor though!

I'm not sure if knowing for certain when it would happen would make me feel better or worse. I like being as in control as much as possible, so from that perspective I would like it but probably would just turn me in to an insane preparation machine!

Not heard from Nazly. I've been worried too - hoping everything has gone ok.

I'm normally uber organised but I feel a bit thrown by having a date. However, let's face it, it could come early and then throw me again!!

V worried about nazly. Hope she is ok.

holls how far off is your section date to your EDD? I'm excited now I've made peace with it! Only 12 days till I meet my LO (although I bet she keeps me on my toes thinking she's turned in that time!)

I am having a v nervous day I think. Suddenly I have realised that we are having a baby!!!! Duhhhhhh.

I had baby monstersinc this afternoon at 2.47pm.

He weighed 9lb5!
Waters broke at about 8ish I think. Contractions started properly at10ish and I was scarwd so stopped myself pushing when I needwd to.

Then I thought fuck it. Lets go with the flow and let my body take over. Best thing I did! Within 2 pushes he was born. Took t the breast straight away.

1word of advice no matter how much it hurts go with the flow as its less painful.

Katharine I would like to add that so far pph of around 1l which is faaaar better than before. Cant get up as im bleeding heavy but still better than before by a long shot!

Hooray ilove!! So glad you got to meet your baby at last. Congratulations also to tea and bug.

tea sounds like the birth went well, very impressed at 6cm to fully dilated! Glad it was over before the anaesthetist arrived.

Well provided I make it past 11.15pm I'll be more pregnant than I've ever been, I even have a 36 week MW appointment tomorrow. We've been lounging around all day today (DHs day off), we hadn't made any plans because I genuinely expected the baby to be here by now.
