Hello all! A shiny new thread for us all as time marches on. Sorry, I've not posted for a while but have been managing to keep up with the thread sporadically. I had my 20 week scan a while back, which all went well, and have my next midwife appt tomorrow which I'm looking forward to.
Annarose - I totally feel your pain with the shifts. My shift pattern always invovles 4 x 12.5hour shifts in a row, which is a bit of a killer. But as you point out, there is definitely the positive of the fact it keeps me really active. I keep meaning to get a pedometer app on my phone to see how far I actually walk each day.
Weeonion - I have the bump to breastfeeding DVD - I remember you saying a while back that you star in it...I think I might know who you are. What a great thing to be involved with, it's so helpful for other mums to be. I didn't sign up for Lazy Dazy in the end because I wanted a birth prep class dp could come to as well. I'm going to pregnancy yoga run by my normal yoga teacher plus a 4 hr active birth workshop dp can come along to as well. It was actually his suggestion which I was delighted about!
Sorry to those of you who are feeling fed up with pregnancy niggles and problems. It's amazing how different the whole experience is for each person. I think I've been incredibly lucky so far and have been really enjoying being pregnant. I hope it continues this way but I wonder if that'll all change once I get bigger. I've had a lot of comments about not being very big, but I think it's because I'm faitry tall and seem to be hiding the baby away.
