Hi everyone! happy bank holiday weekend, even though it's raining!

SnowBoo I signed up for the Boots thing but haven't had the pack yet. I cant wait!! I also signed up for the Tesco parenting club as you dont have to actually have children yet, pregnant ladies can be in it too, so you get to park closer to the store! What a blessing that is as I am really starting to find walking difficult. I feel guilty about that, like I shouldnt be finding it difficult, but I certainly am!

eenywifemum · 27/05/2006 13:18

Micku5 - did you just find out you are having a girl??? Congratulations!! That's lovely!

Micku5 · 27/05/2006 13:22

It was confirmed at a scan i had last week. So out comes dd clothes in the next month or two! This little one has been making her presence known the last few days. Every night dd sings her nursery rhymes to her Grin the baby will know her voice before mine.

I forgot about the Boots and Tesco's clubs... will have to sign up for them. Oh before I forget, did everyone get a Bounty pack from their midwife/hospital?

eenywifemum · 27/05/2006 13:25

I've had 2 Bounty packs, although there wasnt much in the 2nd one.

Micku it must be so sweet seeing pregnancy through a little ones eyes!! and weird!! I cant imagine what children make of this huge transformation of their mother!

PinkTulips · 27/05/2006 13:26

dd just fell asleep for her nap with her head on my bump listening to the baby and gurgling at him....... awwwwwwwwwww. she's so damn cute it makes me cry.... bl*dy hormones!

YellowFeathers · 27/05/2006 13:40

Hi
Just checked out the Boots thing and it says it takes 5 weeks from signing up to receive the package so I think I'll wait till we've moved (if we ever do!)

eenywifemum · 27/05/2006 17:08

PinkTulips, how old is your DD?

Yellow what is going on with your move? I really hope it goes quickly for you!

YellowFeathers · 27/05/2006 17:22

Its a total nightmare eeny. I think everything to do with the house we're buying is sorted but the people who are buying ours, their solicitors keep coming up with silly enquiries. The minute we answer one, they have another one for us.
We're going to give them a call next week and say stop messing about now because the longer they delay us the bigger the chance of us losing our house which then means they don't get this -you with me!

11 weeks till I give birth and we have to complete, move and do at least some very basic decorating. Not to mention find a new Midwife, GP and hospital!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, rant over Grin

eenywifemum · 27/05/2006 17:37

Yellow I am so sorry! God I dont know how you cope, you seem cheerful here on the board and I would probably be a total wreck! Give them a deadline and stick to it, surely they can think of all their questions in one go and let you answer them all at once, rather than one at a time. That's just stupid. Keep us updated. And rant away! You need to get rid of the stress somehow!

olivo · 27/05/2006 17:42

nightmare, yellow!tell them to get their act together!

Those of you with lo s already sound as though they are taking it really well and being very cute! had my nephew - nearly 1- this afternoon, dont envy those of you who are running round after dds and dss at the mo - I'm wiped out!

wasnt that impressed with my bounty pack, although i love the cute little sudocreme!Grini've had my second pack from boots - seems to be worth quite a lot. dont know if anyone has lloyds chemist near them but emma's diary gives you a voucher for a pack from them. we dont have tesco over here although i do have a clubcard that i use online so i might see if i can get anything - i love bargains and freebies!

hope everyone is having a nice weekend - we even got a bit of sun this afternoon!!

olivo · 27/05/2006 17:43

by the way, has anyone else had their bump measured? - i was 29cm yesterday top to bottom - just wondered if this was normal, she did say roughly 1 cm per week so i guess so - i was 27+1wks.
