I love my tight maternity clothes, i am fully embracing horizontal stripes for the 1st time in my life! if i wear baggy things i just look chubby and frunmpy.

honey i feel them better when i lie on my back, my baby has super active days and then is lazy for a day or 3 and i dont feel him/her.

I love the names florian and fabian! it is so hard to find a name that works in 2 languages. We have Freja, Alva, Älva (said elva) Elsa (i hate it im just putting it on the list to humor my mother) for girls and Theodor (said tiodor nn tio/teddy) Tor (we can't have a tor and freja because we dont like norse mythology that much!) rasmus and björn for a boy. I want to go for english names id choose rupert and tabitha is it was just up to me!

My OH proposed on saturday, i think we will wait till summer 2014 to have the wedding as next year i think will be a little hectic with a baby. In sweden as we are not married bubba will automatically get my last name and i said i wouldnt have my OH's last name unless we were at least engaged so maybe that had something to do with it!

scan tomorrow! i feel nervous and excited, cant wait to see bubba wiggling around again :)

Bubbless · 16/07/2012 11:20

little miss congratualtions on your proposal! was it all romantic?!
good luck for your scan! come over to the new page, weejo linked it above your last post :)

PrunellaDeVille · 16/07/2012 11:36

and happy anniversary Thanks

PrunellaDeVille · 16/07/2012 11:42

oops missed a page
Thanks littlemiss too, that's very exciting
we're scan buddies tomorrow too, enjoy.
i can't wait for DH to see LO for the first time as he couldn't come last time, i think it'll feel more real for him suddenly when he sees it

ivanapoo · 16/07/2012 17:44

Congrats on the rings Bubbless and littlemiss. I love some not all eternity rings so might be making a few "suggestions" to el husbando. Will probably go down like a lead balloon though.

Who are these people who don't like nutella?! (eyes them suspiciously)

Prunella i know what you mean - went shopping for mat stuff yesterday and found zilch (in my size at least). Just as well really as trying to spend the bare minimum. I have found that quite a few shops are selling stuff that would prob do me till 8 months though... I'm still in my normal trousers at 19 weeks so thinking I might not have a huge bump for a while. (BTW Prunella is on my list of girls' names! Blush )

I've also been given a bunch of mat clothes by my sis. Unfortunately we have quite different rules as to what we can wear to work so she's given me wool skirts and black trousers and wrap dresses - none of which I'd usually wear! I'll be going all corporate power dressing for my third trimester...

Stacks · 16/07/2012 17:56

Come over to the new thread :)

Ivana You could always dress down some of the clothes? You might also be glad of wool skirts in the winter? I guess it depends on colour, but pair them with a nice jumper/coat and it could look OK?

SurreyM · 10/08/2012 08:04
