Hey Ellie my little shop is called Lumin Likes and indeed I do have a pile of bibs i've not sold because I'm a lazy bum and don't like the marketing side of having a shop. I just like the making side! If you'd like I could email you over some photos of them or make any to order. Customers generally pick the fabrics they like from the fabric album and then I made them :)

Does anyone know of a good place that does maternity tights? I can't find any anywhere that don't cost the earth!

aBundanceOfTime · 02/04/2012 16:37

< BONG! >

Nothing has come from pessary #1 so Trope's had pessary #2 and is on the CTG for monitoring for half an hour. Planning for another walk after this.
She's been told to expect this all to take a couple of days.

Bun, bringing you news. As it happens. Wink

babybrain3 · 02/04/2012 17:29

Loving the updates bun!!! Grin

Go Trope!! Go Fuzzy!!

aBundanceOfTime · 02/04/2012 19:03

< BONG! >

Trope has had a her walk and feeling suitably knackered after it, and I quote: "Who on Earth thought putting a hospital on a hill was a good idea??" Grin
She's headed back up to the ward for 'food' (not sure that which the hospital provides can be put in the same category) and sleep.

Night night Trope. Get moving Fuzzy! Smile

foolserrand · 02/04/2012 21:05

Mamma I have found your shop on facebook and done that annoying little 'like' button. Hoping my friends and family take the hint! Grin You have some lovely things for sale.

Ellie I'm due on the 26th. Puts me next as per due dates, but if you go early or I'm late (that is soooooooo not happening!) you could well beat me but I'll hate you forever Grin

now Bun.... I love your updates! This may have something to do with Trope's attitude to everything though. She is fantastic for popping off for a fry up, and the text quote is funny. Very impressed she's managing to remain so upbeat. Thank you Bun for being the middle mum!

Well, we have had a fantastic day. Managed to keep great weather for our picnic. Ds and his little girlfriend had lots of fun running around like.... Well, 3 year olds! Checked on here a few times whilst sitting on a blanket, in the sunshine, and ended up telling my friend all about Trope's imminent Fuzzy arrival. She sends her best wishes!

Poor ds sobbed when I put him in the car because he "missed her already" Grin I may be a little happy after our outing because we fed the fish. Grin Most people go for a picnic at the lake to feed the ducks, swans, geese.... Not me. I want to feed the fuck off huge fish! They make me giggle when they slurp the food and bang into each other. Grin they are also, in case you didn't catch it, massive! These are stock fish for fishermen to catch and release and are easily the length of my arm. Cocky little bastards they are, too. One bit a swan for getting in the way GrinGrin. Right, have given the small man my undivided all day, now it's the dogs turn!

TroubleAndFyfe · 02/04/2012 23:13

** ? Please?

aBundanceOfTime · 02/04/2012 23:19

Haha! Sorry Trouble no bongs to report back yet Grin

foolserrand · 03/04/2012 06:48

Bun, you mean to tell me I have admitted to being awake at this ungodly hour for nothing? Angry Well, that's just not cricket! How very dare Trope sleep instead of updating us! Ds wants to get up now he knows I'm awake and, shudder, do things! Currently bribing him with Nick jr, not an overly hard task as he has woken up with man flu. Ah well, guess that's me off to make chocolate and banana pancakes then.

TroubleAndFyfe · 03/04/2012 08:13

Ooh, I want chocolate and banana pancakes!

aBundanceOfTime · 03/04/2012 08:24

Mmmm pancakes...

...

< Bong! > Grin

Not a very good nights sleep for Trope last night, a particularly screamy bunch of labouring ladies according to the midwives. She has painful braxtons, over enthusiastic bowels, a good, steady BP and a wonderful DP who brought in pizza for dinner!

Just waiting for another pessary and an exam to see how her cervix is progressing.

Quote: "Hearing all the newborns crying after the screaming is quite an incentive!" Aaw [smile

She managed to catch up on the thread and says a big thank you for all the lovely messages!

MammaInTheMaking · 03/04/2012 08:25

I want them too Grin

Kayzr · 03/04/2012 08:26

Yuk bananas Envy

foolserrand · 03/04/2012 08:41

Come on Trope!!!!! Well done Trope's dh for the pizza too.

The pancakes are medicinal. Dh gets a few, ds gets him sized ones and I try to hold enough batter back so the dogs get one too Blush. I'll do yours without banana, shall I Kayzr? Grin

Oh, very funny story from ds on Sunday. Took him to pick my parents up from heathrow and we were waiting for them to come through arrivals. Every time the door opened, he tutted loudly and exclaimed "that is NOT nanna, mummy." "that is NOT grandpa, mummy", "come on nanna, come on grandpa. Hurry up!" All this is as you'd expect for a small child who has been waiting over 30 minutes to see his grandparents and unwrap the presents they brought him. Unfortunately, there was one comment from my dear child that made the other people waiting around us splutter and laugh.

Ds, sounding extremely unimpressed, pissed off and with a slight hint of contempt; "Mummy, that is not Nanna. that is just a fat lady. Can't we send her back on the airplane?" Blush

It was the tone that killed and her not speaking English that saved me from wanting to die, really hope I have captured him well enough.

ghosteditor · 03/04/2012 08:46

Trope I hope you're wearing a fetching flak jacket and helmet if you're reporting from the front line Grin

trope you go girl!! Hope things go really well for you before drips need to be involved but if you do get to that stage then I know you'll still be fab! (but think about the epidural if you need to Wink) very excited to hear news of fuzzy sometime soon!

The wards are awful, aren't they? I spent a week on the post-natal ward and hated every minute. I was not a vocal birther and didn't hear anyone else near delivery so it was all so quiet for me! I even banned the radio the MWs tried to put on.

DD and I are hanging out in bed post-feed and gazing at each other while she tries not to go back to sleep. Tis tres cute. She's smilier in the morning than I am too.

Having just spotted the messages nearing max capacity, I have set up part three of our beloved thread. Last thing we need is delay to the service now, eh?

here

That had better bloody work!Grin

TroubleAndFyfe · 03/04/2012 09:06

Grin fools your DS! Grin Blush Grin
Thanks for the update bun, goooooo trope the ward sounds pretty awful, I didn't make a sound either so don't let it make you think it is going to be bad! Fuzzy will be worth every uncomfortable moment x 1000! Grin
Sounds nice ghost! Smile we're cuddled up in bed again now after a mid feed bath so DS smells all gorgeous again and feels lovely in just his nappy! Grin

TroubleAndFyfe · 03/04/2012 09:07

Well done fools! I like the intro too! Grin

ghosteditor · 03/04/2012 09:20

trouble - their skin is just so delicious, isn't it? DD is so bored of my MNing that she's drifted back off to sleep... Wonder if I can sneak breakfast...

OP posts:
aBundanceOfTime · 03/04/2012 09:53

Haha yes Ghost only the helmet is too big and keeps dropping down and covering my eyes Grin

Sounds like a lovely morning Trouble and Ghost! I love baby skin too (on a baby that is, not as a rug or anything!) it's gorgeous Smile

Lilly smiles her like mad when I sing to her and Oliver keeps asking me to sing 'Babies song' because he loves her smile too. So adorable Smile

Fools your DS made me laugh! They aren't half honest are they?! Grin Thankfully DS isn't quite at that stage yet!

aBundanceOfTime · 03/04/2012 09:55

her (was going to be 'Lilly smiles her head off' but thought that didn't help my 'I love baby skin' case Hmm)

foolserrand · 03/04/2012 10:02

Grin poor Bun! It is lovely when you can make them smile like that, isn't it? And a decent song choice too! Ds still demands "baby mine" from Dumbo before he will go to sleep.
