Here's the new thread ladies!!!

May this one bring some BABIES!!!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
foolserrand · 23/03/2012 08:40

That's how I felt, Ellie! The hateful cows didn't add me either!

Davina that room is lovely! I love the furniture, think something similar would work well with what I'm planning. Am so impressed you're managing to stay pleasant, doubt I could. Good luck for the doctor today!

I do like the vajazzle idea! I am not currently considering the pink mowhawk with some bizarre faux diamanté shite to make my soon to be gaping fanjo less horrific Grin

I officially judge how my day will go by my success building wooden train track. Today will be a lazy day as I pretty much replicated yesterday's offering. Blush Luckily, his highness cares not and is currently trying to laden his poor engines with too many carriages. This will end badly!

foolserrand · 23/03/2012 08:53

Trouble I can't believe he's been here 3 weeks! A heads up, the wii never gave me an accurate weight for ds Sad but the boring bathroom scales were better. Maybe decent, heavy duty kitchen scales would be wise, considering how amazingly you're doing! Grin

TroubleAndFyfe · 23/03/2012 10:48

Oh Sad that's a bugger, I don't own any other scales.. You did it on the wii fit thing you use for weighing your dog? Grin how did you know it was inaccurate? Repeated weighing giving different figures?

aBundanceOfTime · 23/03/2012 11:58

Come on baby Davina! We want to meet you! Grin

Gosh Trouble, can't believe how fast the time's going, 22 days! Lilly's 2 months/8 weeks now! Shock

Love the - ahem - hair styles and vajazzle ideas, someone please do it! Grin I was just a trim and tiddy up jobby myself - was beyond caring Smile
But honestly, as someone who has seen a lot of pee pee's and hoo ha's with work (care worker), it really is a completely different kettle of fish (ha!). You just don't take a blind bit of notice when you see them day in day out Smile Although, I might of taken a second glance at a pink mohawk/diamante affair!! Grin

It's been a case of one step step forward, two steps back with Lilly, after a few wonderful days of her being happy and content with a dummy at night, she's been so unsettled again the last few days Sad Don't know if it's teething or what - can see the two teeth below the gum, but not much, if anything, has changed (DS was the same with his though, unsettle for weeks with nothing happening and then all of a sudden they appeared over night!). We'll see.
It's been a much needed reminder of Rule #1 of newborns: take each day as it comes! Grin

Just been having some Pinterest fun whilst DD's napping and DS eating his porridge, wedding stuff! Grin

elliebug · 23/03/2012 13:00

trouble i can't see yours :( you could take fyfe to a baby clinic or something to get him weighed.
got paid today, yay, better sort car AND house insurance, bye bye money

Davinaaddict · 23/03/2012 13:18

V quick update on the way for fish & chips Grin So the scan was all fine and the doctor was fabulous again. I'm now 1cm dilated - woohoo! Smile And have what felt like the stretch & sweep of my life Booked in for fetal monitoring on Monday & Wednesday next week, the back to the doc for another sweep next Friday. No mention of induction/CS unless I change my mind Grin Feeling very uncomfy now though so hoping thing get moving soon. And I have a Sainsbury's delivery and my pregnant buddy coming to see us tomorrow - hoping Murphy is listening so he can lay his law down Grin

elliebug · 23/03/2012 13:47

Yay, let's hope fish and chips have some unknown labour inducing powers Grin

Kayzr · 23/03/2012 13:51

Have curry sauce with your fish and chips!! Get bonking Grin

DP is offically on the way home. He is in Kuala Lumpur waiting for his flight to Amsterdam.

TroubleAndFyfe · 23/03/2012 14:01

Sad you were on my list ellie, I've added you again so you're now on there twice, maybe that will encourage it to work?! Grin

Kayzr · 23/03/2012 14:09

Trouble Have you moved your profile to your new name? I could see it when you were Carlita but not now.

aBundanceOfTime · 23/03/2012 14:13

Oh yes, I can't click on your name either Trouble

I've just notice an interesting typo, what on Earth is a 'tiddy up jobby'?? Not sure I want to know given the context! Grin

foolserrand · 23/03/2012 14:16

I second the fishy, chippy labour vibes. Really hope something happens for you soon, Davina. Hurrah for 1 cm though! Am currently watching ds create complete chaos at his tumble tots club. The child is fearless and throwing himself from ledges bigger than he is. I may need to start dying my hair to hide the grey it this keeps up. Luckily, he's a nice kid so everyone focuses on how cute he is, not what a terror he's being.

I measured him on the Wii and then took him to the health visitor. There was a noticeable difference. Think there's something that says its inaccurate until a certain weight. Sorry. :(

TroubleAndFyfe · 23/03/2012 14:45

Blush profile now moved!
fools I wasn't going to just put him on the scale, I was going to weigh myself then weigh myself holding him and work out the difference. That's how the wii fit does it with your cat/dog etc. it should work then! Grin

Kayzr · 23/03/2012 14:52

You can use wii fit to weigh children under 3. I used to do it for the boys and it always matched the bathroom scales. But DS2 was over 1 by then.

elliebug · 23/03/2012 15:30

ahhhh cute baby :) i especially like the photo with his foot out trouble :o

Kayzr · 23/03/2012 18:08

How cute is that picture of him with his foot sticking out?? Adorable.Grin

TroubleAndFyfe · 23/03/2012 20:41

Have Wii weighed Fyfe with him recognised as a baby and he is 11lbs! Shock Grin

Davinaaddict · 24/03/2012 08:04

Grrr - woken up in the mother of all grumps today, not helped by emails from BabyCentre about my 2 week old AngrySad NO BLOODY LABOUR SIGNS. Not even the show the doc said I might get after yesterday's sweep Angry I might go start a rants thread in Childbirth in the hope that it helps things to move.....I'm still going to be here in 2 weeks aren't I??Sad

Davinaaddict · 24/03/2012 08:05

Can't even spell - I meant a ranty thread!Angry

TroubleAndFyfe · 24/03/2012 12:24

Sad no, you will not be there in 2 weeks, you'll be hugging your baby! The ranty thread sounds like a good idea. You need to make some plans that would be hard to cancel...invite friends over that you haven't seen for ages, buy theatre tickets and arrange a baby sitter etc. Smile
Hope the sunshine is cheering you up?

Kayzr · 24/03/2012 16:35

DP is HOME!!!! GrinGrinGrin

Davinaaddict · 24/03/2012 17:11

Yay for DP being home Kayzr Grin

Thanks Trouble - good idea! I was hoping the combination of a Sainsbury's delivery plus my friend coming round might help, but they are clearly too easy to cancel Hmm Try again! And we've had fog most of the day, so I haven't had that to cheer me upConfused But never mind - I'm feeling a bit better now anyway despite nothing happening STILL Smile

TroubleAndFyfe · 24/03/2012 17:29

Yay kayzr! Grin
davina the sainsbury's delivery may just do it, an ocado one worked for my sister! Grin
The weather has been incredible here and I can smell BBQ [hungry] Grin

babybrain3 · 25/03/2012 10:23

Got my 12week scan date through-3rd April.... I will be 13+6.....grrr that's if my dates are right!!! Really excited though-can't wait!!!

TroubleAndFyfe · 25/03/2012 11:16

Grin great news babybrain! Bit late but at least you'll get a better look at your baby with it being that much bigger!
