Must admit after DD I had a boob job just to lift and fill again Blush. Was certain I was done at 2 DC so am dreading how big and painful my boobs are going to get! Think I may stick to underwired for a bit just so my money is not wasted Wink

It is an amazing thing how quickly your body changes and grows in these first few weeks when it is such a tiny bean in there!

mrsshears · 08/10/2011 21:21

oohh carty i'm Envy at your boob job,dc3 for me too and i'm not looking forward to seeing my boobs after pregnancy and breast feeding 3dc!!
I will try and appreciate these babies while i still have themGrin

Kayzr · 08/10/2011 22:01

It's DC3 for me too. I've got 2 boys who are 4 and 2.

On the boob subject, I'm a 38DD and I'm dreading getting even bigger.

Dalrymps · 08/10/2011 22:32

Just to clarify, you definitely can take paracetamol whilst pregnantSmile

Kayzr · 09/10/2011 07:09

Morning.

I got another faint bfp this morning. I think I might start believing it now. I've worked out I'll be due on the 21st June. My mums birthday is the 22nd so that would be nice.

Rrrrayray · 09/10/2011 08:16

Morning all.

Still not got any symptoms here which is rather welcome as by this time last time round was already being sick. Just rather tired

TDW - ah you can't be a million miles from us. We are about 20 mins from paultons park, but, we are moving, possibly in January and will be 5 mins from paultons park!

Talking of moving.. We had an offer accepted on a house last week, aim to exchange 1st week in January. But the House needs a kitchen and new bathrooms so will be more like a late feb early march move in I think. 2012 is going to be an exciting year for us.

Carty - v jealous of the boob job. My boobs blew up from a 32 C to a 34 GG while pg / bf last time.... So love the idea of having a boob job after this baby. Did you have an uplift? As I've heard before that with some methods you can no longer breast feed as they cut the milk duct? Did your surgeon go down this route?

Welcome to all the new comers - we are really growin by the day! Exciting.

Have husbands best friend and daughter staying this weekend, then tomorrow friends arriving from America. So feel like running a hotel at the moment! Hmm

Rrrrayray · 09/10/2011 08:20

Oh and we lived in essex when DD was born, so it's totally new to me Down here. No idea what the support system
Will be like! Confused

vix1980 · 09/10/2011 10:57

Hi,

Very nervously wanting to join as i had my first faint line last wednesday and after a few days of not believing it i finally took another 1 this morning and its got so much darker, so Im starting to believe it more, dont have any real symptoms yet but im only just 4 wks so suppose ive got them to come, apart from massive boobs and my dp asking me why i was so horrible to be around lately, still havent told him as hes out at a friends, so in true mn style ive come on here first to blurt everything out to the world first!

think im due 18th June, god its scary even writing that down!

Carty80 · 09/10/2011 11:01

Dalrymps Thanks for also confirming I can take paracetamol, will be taking on asap, headache carried on from last night!

Kayzr Glad you can start believing now and congrats!

Rrrray I got an uplift and implants, my boobs were like puppy ears after bf 2 DC and just for my own self confidence decided to get them done, DH wasn't so keen on the idea and it did take me out of action for a couple of weeks, very painful but even the doc said how awful they were and my nipples were almost hidden under skin! Apparently i can still breastfeed but to be honest the thought of it scares me more than the birth! Had so much trouble last 2 times and in my head already imagining the pain! Congrats on your move too!

Also Rrrray we are only about 20 mins from Paultons and kids go to school in Romsey.

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend.

Carty80 · 09/10/2011 11:03

Congratulations vix1980!! I was awful to DH on Friday before I got the BFP yesterday and I remember the first few weeks with DC being just so moody with everyone so more to come, prepare him!!

StarlightMcKenzie · 09/10/2011 11:05

Hi all,

Welcome to the newbies!

Carty Bfing doesn't do that to your breasts. It is pregnancy that does it. BFing makes no difference.

OP posts:
Carty80 · 09/10/2011 11:34

Really Starlight? I thought it was because they fill up with milk then deflate so much! Blush I did put a lot of weight on in both pregnancies though, more than I should have done with just baby and fluid etc. Good to know though, so if I bf this time and try and keep exercising then they should stay reasonably perky? Grin Have bought my creams to lather myself in this time round!

StarlightMcKenzie · 09/10/2011 12:20

I don't know if they will stay perky. As I said it is the pregnancy and the hormone changes that do it, not breastfeeding. However, presumably your operation will keep them the way they are to some extent!?

OP posts:
Carty80 · 09/10/2011 13:08

Yes I suppose they will to some extent but I don't mind a bit of droop so hope I can still bf.

Like you my family thought we would be done as we have a boy and girl so I have had a lot of "are you crazy?" conversations yesterday and today!

I had a HB with DD and I have to say it was brilliant, nothing like getting in your own bed after delivering and then DS walking in to the room upon waking and seeing his sister! Grin

We got rid of everything to do with babies after DD and just can't afford to buy all new again so will be going through friends to see what I can blag!

working9while5 · 09/10/2011 15:50

I am feeling very moody and irritable today and dh isn't helping as he is being a PITA and is "very tired" and "not up to" doing x, y and z because a) he was up at 6am to watch rugby yesterday and b) he went out on the tiles last night Hmm. A friend who is a few weeks ahead also had a miscarriage too which she mentioned on chat on fb (she doesn't know that I am pregnant of course) and now I feel rubbish for her AND I just want to crawl under the pregnancy rock until it is "safe". Wake me up in 9 weeks please! Except of course, it is never "safe" in pregnancy or, come to think of it, in parenthood in general which is something I only ever seem to "get" when I am pregnant. This results in me feeling stupidly anxious which is something I thought you weren't really supposed to feel on a second pregnancy unless you had experienced something traumatic in another pregnancy, birth or with an older baby or child. Well squits to that! Being very quiet with dh, the boy is napping far too late in the day and I suppose I'd better go put a dinner on..

I sense this will be the first pointless moan of many Grin.

greengoose · 09/10/2011 16:49

Hi to all you lovely ladies, and congrats to the new BFPs!!!
Sorry Ive been away for a bit. Im having a bit of a 'oh god its all going to go wrong again' panic just now, based on what is probably nothing more than indigestion! The thing is that I remember the feeling before MCing the last twice, so its all a little scary! Does anyone else get a pain low down on their left hand abdomen ever? TBH I cant even say this only happens when Im pregnant, I might just not have noticed it much!
Anyway, enough of a moan. Working9, I also have a HD claiming tiredness due to rugby... and because he went running twice last week. Not thatt I mind him running (keeps him pert) but I OWN TIRED for the next year and a half now, and any mention form him will be frostily ignored (although, being a man, he will not notice).
On the subject of boobs, mine were always like flee bites until I had DS1, then I went up to a perky (for me) Bcup, and Ive just stayed there. I was chuffed. Hopefully they will survive another go at it!
I am now exactly where I was when things started to go wrong last time, and then I started to bleed at 6weeks exactly, so I might be a bit of a wreck this week. Im going to beg an early scan at 7 weeks, if Im still around by then! My Pee Sticks are still going darker, and I got a 3+ from a CBD, so thats all good!

thedogwalker · 09/10/2011 16:54

Hi to the newbies. Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Nothing stronger than paracetamol I'm afraid Mrs. Drink plenty of water and have a lay down in a darkened room, that should help get rid of the headache. Well done Mrs on getting passed that milestone, think positive Smile.

Hope everyone is having a nausea and stress free weekend, take care xx

StarlightMcKenzie · 09/10/2011 17:25

greengoose I get a bit of pain on my right side. I have in early pregnancy with my last 3 (I MC one) but the sides alternate. I assume it is something to do with the side I ovulated as that seemed to figure when I had a scan and they told me.

I don't feel properly pregnant yet but have enough symptoms to be calm enough. I MC at 8 weeks in between my two and I never felt right somehow and was not surprised. I kind of feel right this time, although not sick yet, but I'm just not prepared to wish for that.

OP posts:
greengoose · 09/10/2011 17:47

Thanks for that starlight. Its difficult to tell what is 'normal' isnt it? Just because I did MC doesnt mean everything I felt leading up to it was wrong... the thing is I dont really remember what I felt in the early days with my two DSs, it might have been the same!!
Has anyone else gone right off chocolate?! Im hoping this signals not-so-much weight gain if I keep it up. With DS1 I craved broccoli and with DS2 I was mad for crushed ice... so not too bad. If I could choose Id crave some complicated delicacy that my DH would have to go out to the deli at 3am for. (Although hed do well to find a deli at 3am, or any other time, in rural Devon)!

Kayzr · 09/10/2011 17:50

Is anyone else feeling exhausted? I'm so tired, even more than usual but it's still really early so I don't know if it can be pregnancy related.

HorseyGirl1 · 09/10/2011 17:55

Is anyone else starting to show yet? I know this sounds crazy but I def am. I'm about 5-6 weeks now (my CBD said 3+ last Monday but going by period dates it's 5-6 weeks). x

working9while5 · 09/10/2011 17:56

This fear of m/c lark is so stressful, isn't it? I have never (although I suspect one early chemical pg earlier this year, as I was a few days late and the subsequent period was extremely painful and unusually heavy) but I threatened it all through the first trimester with ds, so ended up wth lots of scans etc because of pain/bleeding. So now I am the other way round, everything seems okay in those departments this time and I am stressing if that is a "sign" and, given the stats, feel I am "due" a mc. What a crazy way to think!! I keep reminding myself that whatever happens, whether I worry or not, it is out of my control. What will be, will be.. and there's absolutely no amount of anxiety that will alter the course one bit.

Greengoose I also have a bit of a right sided dull ache, but more worryingly, I am suffering severe back pain at night which is really posterior pelvic pain. It is exactly the same pain I suffered with for 9 months after my last birth because of pelvic trauma and so I am nervous.. I know there's all that ligament loosening happening even now, but if I am feeling that creaking joint pain now when what's inside me is only 2mm and weighing pretty much nothing, how will it be when/if I end up with a hefty baby squidged in there? Again, not worth worrying about.. but haven't let that stop me yet! Grin

Kayzr · 09/10/2011 18:17

Horseygirl I was about 7 weeks with DS2 when I felt my clothes getting tight and about 12 weeks when it was visible to other people.

greengoose · 09/10/2011 18:52

Kayzr I am totally knackered too!! Have been for a couple of weeks, and seemingly this is a normal thing this early on.... bodies working hard and all that! I also cant sleep very well, waking at 5am and not going back to sleep properly, and also having really vivid and memorable dreams most nights!!

Horseygirl I was bigger than I wanted to be when I got pregnant this time (angry at myself, I usually try to be my ideal weight when I get pregnant), so its hard to tell, but I think I have put on a few pounds.... feeling very bloated, but its not baby, its just body retaining more water than usual. I think Im going to be v. early into maternity clothes though... so comfy!

Working9 The back pain thing sounds dreadful.. has your pelvis recovered from last time? Will it be more prone to happening this time? Perhaps its worse in early stages because of all that 'loosening' we need to go through?

My Dh is slogging over a hot stove making me a roast dinner (the kitchen is a bomb site, it will take me the rest of the evening to clean it, but he is trying hard)! I think he is really worried about whether this one will work out, but doesnt want to talk about it. Ill feel a bit better after this week is done and Im past 6weeks!

Carty80 · 09/10/2011 20:22

Kayzr also very tired but feel I can't blame it on pregnancy yet although was up at 1am having a wee and then couldn't get back to sleep, also odd dreams last night so all related probably.

working hope your back pain is not too unbearable. I suffer from hip joint pain and am scared how I will be when a few months gone, your right, not worth worrying about, can't do anything about it, but doesn't stop you!

Feeling bloated in my belly and I remember with DD being about 16 weeks pregnant and someone asking me if I was due in the next few months, so showed up very quickly with her!

Got an achey belly tonight, anyone know if ok to use a hot water bottle? I did read it can raise your body temperature up too much but if I drink plenty of water, think it would be ok? Google has mixed advice!!
