Ah, great, can someone link on the old thread so we don't loose anyone!

We must be extra chatty :) I've worked from home today, got twice as much done as I would have in the office and feeling very lucky - there are 3 hour delays on my train line home. I really don't fancy that in this heat!

I've put a link to here on the other thread, hope you don't mind

So did I :D at least no one will get lost.

I don't blame you ParsleyLion1 I looked after my friends 4 year old today, so did 2 miles worth of nursery runs (on foot), tandem swing pushing at the park and playing referee between her and my 3 year old as they couldn't agree on what to play with (normally the best of friends)

finaly updated my due date they put me back a day, also added on my 20 week scan.

also my blood group in a rhesus d negative.

Hehee, we are a chatty bunch. All I've done today is stack the dishwasher, some washing up, driving lesson, mw and then gp (interspersed with mn and catchat)...knackered...off to bed!

updated with my scan date

got some very nice new items through the post today from Topshop... some indigo Baxter skinny jeans which were pricey but which I was very impressed with- good fit, good colour, looked like the real thing and make me feel vaguely fashionable and normal rather than a bit of an unbuttoned mess. Also got an LBD which I was disappointed with at first as I thought the fabric seemed a bit thin for the price but the dress itself was super flattering with a clever twist at the tummy for bump-growing room. Nice to have something elegant to wear as my shape changes.

Conchita, I think I was looking at the sane dress and jeans on topshop only yesterday! Haven't ordered yet though

I just played my last hockey match for at least 6-7 months today - thankfully we won so I have a shiny medal to commemorate the last match! Got a few faces for playing at 4 months but I took it easy and had lots of breaks, and I don't think it was especially risky. Should probably stop now though

ghost editior if you fee comfortable dont listen to the 's its your body and you know what you can/cant do.

I've had the same headache since yesterday morning, its so annoying, i cant think stright. I've been using 4head, but its not doing much, i tried to take paracetomal but i just threw it ack up again (i did this in my last pregnancy too, my body wont let me take any tablets like paracetomal but i can take folic acid and iron tablets )

I get my blood test results back today hopefully the drs wil give me drugs to make me 'normal' then i can stop being so zombie like and just focus on being pregnant.

hello everyone! back from a wee break in suffolk, was glorious and I didn't puke up once :D
and the cat survived its first time without us so all looking good for our proper holiday next week hopefully....

addicted I have awful headache too, feels like my head will explode :( Hope you get a magic pill! I'm struggling with any tablet so I haven't managed my folic acid or anything in ages, even my tiny anti sickness tablets are a challenge.

I like the sound of this top shop dress, think I'll have a look on the website now....

me too on headaches and tablets - got a mad headache today, and I havent been able to keep the pregnacare stuff down at all, so my poor piglet is probably deficient in all sorts of things (except for what it got out of all the toast I've fed it....)

and thankyou Chocamum, it was indeed lovely - i ate my first (tiny) meal with my husband on sunday in a pub!! haven't eaten a meal OR been in a pub for two months!! was nice to feel like a normal person again.

we're off to Devon next week as long as I feel up to it, but it's with 3 other members of DH's family so it's not ideal on the food front - i still don't really want to smell too much hot food, so i guess I'll have to go out when they all cook dinner....

but a swim in the sea with a seal or two and a lot of relaxing and reading sounds good to me, so I'm going to try my best to get down there...

Gosh, so many headaches! I've been suffering since the weekend too - but I often have headaches in humid weather, so it's not a surprise. I'm fine with paracetamol but for those of you who can't keep them down - have you tried the dissolving kind? Those might work better for you...

addicted - thanks, that's what I think too! I know my body and my limits (do lots of sport) and there's no medical reason not to carry on so long as I'm comfortable. I do need to start thinking of what I will be able to do when the bump gets bigger though - I think perhaps I need to start going out for a walk at lunchtime and probably start swimming again. I struggled into my swimming costume last week at the beach, but couldn't fit into my wetsuit - time to invest in a new costume I think!

It's DH's birthday this week and I'm taking him out for a super fancy meal at a Michelin starred restaurant - soooo grateful that the nausea has gone for me and I should be able to eat what I want!

Just to let you know about my saga with mw....called today to check why the hell they gave me an appointment for yesterday when they are not open on Mondays, then to found out they actually booked me for the 9th August...of course, while I'm away....The MW said she had to see me before I left for holidays and then she just books my appointment right bang in the middle of it (makes sense, right???)

I now have to wait 3 weeks to be seen again...MW said 'it doesn't matter we see you later...' really? So why the emphasis on 'we HAVE to see you with 16 weeks...'

Sooo annoyed, and had rearranged everything to be seen today (as they couldn't tell me yesterday if I had an appointment for today), with yet another urine sample being taken around for no reason, etc...

Breath in and breath out, breath in and breath out....

I missed your post ghosteditor...Michelin starred restaurant...hmmmmmm, glad you will be able to eat loads!!! Let us know what was on the menu .... I'm away on hols in California for two weeks and am scared of A) boiling and B) gaining 100 kgs...
