Ooooooo a new thread!!

I have just worked out I have 37 more working days left!! I only work 4 days a week so that is going to fly by!

8 1/2 weeks left to go for me - woohoo!! Bring it on, I can not wait!!!!!

Me neither!!!! That's not long at all is it.

No idea how long I've got left to go. Had planned to finish in a week or two originally, but project won't be ready to go live until Christmas, and usually I'd stick around for first couple of months afterwards to deal with queries/issues/support handover - so I'll be ready to leave about March then!!!

I finish in 8 weeks as well...wahey! Scarily though, DH finishes in only 12 before we move to the farm, so only a few more salaries to go before we need to earn our own living instead of guaranteed monthly income!!

I'm getting a total kicking today btw...I no likey the kicking to the lower front area and cervix! sensation too weird...

I had lots of kicks down below earlier when I got to work, it's a strange feeling. Off home shortly and to docs to see why I have a spotty belly!

Hey girls!! Back from France and feeling yukky!! I think I did too much walking around and travelling and stuff. Dh looking after me though so I'm alright.

Baby G is kicking tons and getting quite rough now actually!! I like feeling her move around but my bladder is very delicate right now!! Also had to buy a new wedding band as my fingers have swollen up. It's not as nice as my usual one but it's better than going without cos I feel naked without it!! Stupid really I guess but I feel like I've forgotten seomthing if I don't have it on.

Finally signed up for my ante-natal classes but they don't start until January so hopefully Baby G won't come too early or I won't have time to finish. Had a hysterical moment on the phone when booking them all because they woman told me and Dh to bring pillows on the first visit. I have no idea why that's funny but at the time I couldn't speak to her or breathe for that matter and Dh was just looking at me wondering what on earth was going on. Is it just me or does anyone else seem to find things absolutely pants-wettingly funny when they're not?!!

Anyway, hope you are all well and babas are all kicking away and growing big. I haven't had a chance to read the old thread yet to catch up but I will try to do that.

Hello again ladies - went for a midwife check this pm - all is well. So lovely to hear the heartbeat. Lovely receptionist got gooey over my scan pics!

Mentioned homebirth to the mw, who immediately said fine, and filled in the relevant form - such a relief, as I was dreading having to fight my corner. Much nicer to have supportive MWs. Also, when I mentioned wanting to hire a pool she offered me the contact details of a hire company!!!

Hi all - wanted to post on the new thread and i had my repeat scan today and all is fine - the head is now entirely average and the estimated weight was just over 500gms so about 1lb.

We are definitely emigrating to Dubai at Xmas so long as i am well so i am scared and excited at the same time.Just hope this one isn't five weeks early liks DS.

Bewitched - i would like to meet up if you and the others are around in December.

Glad all the midwife appts are going swimmingly and great news on your homebirth Thell.

I feel like pants today. Not entirely sure what is wrong but I cried all the way to work this morning just because I am so tired. I hardly sleep on a night because my back is so painful and everytime I turn over it starts cracking. I have booked in to see the doc again this morning but no doubt I will yet again be fobbed off with general aches and pains of pregnancy. Ooooh I just think I need a good bloody kip!!! But instead am sat at a bleeding desk trying to look all cheery

Sorry, just had to have a rant because DH is sick of hearing me moan!

Hi Girls,

Went to docs last night as midwife wanted me to get the rash checked on my belly, anyway before I went they called and said they wanted me to pick up a form to do a urine sample. I asked the doctor why I had to do this as MW checked normal one on Monday and my white blood cells are high again which means I probably have the water infection back. He said it should be between 11-13 for pregnant women which is higher than normal women but mine is 15. Also have high blood pressure now and the doctor said I was looking very pale. Got to have another blood pressure check on Friday and a glucose tolerance test to check for diabetes. If my bp doesnt go down my mum reckons I could be admitted to hospital for bed rest!!!!!! That will make me well stressed, he said every time I go it is creeping up and up so fingers crossed for Friday that it goes down a bit!!!

Still feeling very tired and exhausted so perhaps water infection is lingering. I JUST WANT TO BLOOM!!!!!!

Chloe - perhaps it's because we are carrying boys eh! Hope you are feeling better soon.

Chloe oh no! I think your right tho, a bloody good kip is what you need, nothing like lack of sleep to induce tears, could you not blag half a day off, just say you feel utter pants and need to go home...might be worth you booking in with a chiropracter you know?

3k {{{Hugs}}} doesn't sound good for you either at the mo, hope your blood pressure goes down and really hope you don't have GD, or get admitted to hosp.....if you do don't forget your ear plugs.....

All is ok here today, bar dd keeping me up all night, but that's another story.

Oh dear 3k - we can't have you being admitted to hospital - you'd have no mumsnet access!! If that didn't send your blood pressure up then I don't know what would . Hope you're drinking cranberry juice like it's going out of fashion!

morning all - going to add to the rants now but really, why did nobody tell me about RIB FLARE??!! at least i think that's what it is...

started last night driving home from work - really uncomfotable like baby was jammed up into my diaphragm - couldn't take deep breaths, couldn't turn or bend...was really uncomfortable.

All is calm here at the moment. Went and saw wallace and Grommit last night - it was good.

Today I am trying to convince DD that she is potty trained, and doesn't need to wear cloth nappies like "Bebby Booooooooooo" (my friend's daughter is 20 weeks, in cloth, and called Beau... she saw her having her nappy chanegd last week and now wants to be just like Baby Beau ).

We have a birthday party at my friend's later, and me n her friend don't get on, so I'm not sure if i'm dreading it, or looking forward to winding her up!! We have a game plan though - I'm getting hyped up on coffee, and I get to be there before she arrives (sort of asserting territory!!!). Will give you the outcome later

Rib Flare sounds like something I'd eat at a barbeque!

Oops... Teuch - as the baby gets bigger then you might get Rib Flare. It will feel like the baby is trying to push your ribs out of your chest.

Well I'm back and what did I tell you, yes have been fobbed off - AGAIN!

I explained about the pain keeping me up most of the night but that it settles during the day. I explained that I am so physically exhausted which is in return worrying me because I need to try and rest before this baby comes.

Oh Jesus just cried my heart out on my colleague now. God I feel like such a pathetic person, why is it that sleep depravation and hormones send you whappy!

Well sounds like you'll have made a convincing case at work for going home! Do you have a comfy sofa or chair at home that you can sleep better in - at least for a nap if not all night?

Have you thought about doing antenatal yoga at all? Or was it you who did one class and ached afterwards? We do loads of stuff which she says helps strengthen the back at ours, and just thinking that it might help ease things a little at least.
