Urgh .. must learn to type/spell

travellingwilbury · 16/09/2009 12:16

Hello all , I am feeling really shitty today .
I can't get motivated to do anything and I know it is the build up to Harrys birthday on the 7th . I know it will be a wee bit better afterwards but then we have the build up to his remember day on 2nd dec and stupid christmas which I do try and get into but I still struggle with it .

Nothing I can do except ride it out but just wanted to have a moan really .

I should have a nearly 9 yr old boy running around asking for a party and worrying about what presents he is going to get but instead I am sitting here feeling miserable .

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 16/09/2009 13:05

The build up is awful isn't it. There's nowt you can do about it either is there? It's even sub-consciously there. I almost want the 7th to hurry up and come and go for you {{{hugs}}}

Come and have a moan anytime xxx

Many. many congratulations Che What lovely news, and twin boys as well! You've put a big smile on my face. There seems to have been a baby boom on here recently

Glad went well for you WoolyJo. Your job sounds interesting, what do you do?

FM - are you looking after yourself? The virus on top of virus thing is horrendous, my sympathies. I hope Ross is feeling much better and that your heart rate has returned to normal.

Shabs - how are you feeling love?

travellingwilbury · 16/09/2009 14:22

Thanks Ilike , especially for the calorie free cake

I just can't shake it today , I really need to sort stuff out here and just cba .

Must try harder . We have got a new mattress coming tomorrow and I really need to sort out our room before hand . Hopefully I will perk up later .

We could always come up and sort him out for you

frasersmummy · 17/09/2009 08:46

shabs I vote we lock your dh and my dh in the same house till one of them caves in and realises that in fact the fairies dont do the housework and the washing

Right am off to the garage take 2.. There is something leaking so I took it to local garage yesterday. Mechanic wasnt it.. left it and got bus home. They called me and they said I needed a new shock absorber £120 .. phoned kwik fit £75 .. local garage cant match it. Kwik fit say bring it in just now . we will do it while you wait .. cool

gets bus back to original garage.. drive to kwik fit. They dont have the part . They can get it in half an hour, wander around get a coffee- go back they cant the part till today.. but not sure when

so another bus trip looms today...

oh well at least Ross likes public transport

frasersmummy · 17/09/2009 13:36

Hello all.

shabbapinkfrog · 17/09/2009 19:29

For any of you ladies following Dizzymares progress through her twin pregnancy - she is back in the hospital on a drip due to de-hydration. Hopes to be home tomorrow.

tinkerbellesmuse · 18/09/2009 05:18

che congratulations - what wonderful news.

TW - sorry you're feeling rubbish. Christmas will be tough for everyone I guess .

The bug that everyone (Shabs - hope you are better) seems to be getting is well travelled as I woke up this morning feeling dreadful.

We're having a BBQ today which was supposed to be a sort of thank you to a few of our friends (two couples) who have been so supportive since we lost Felix (and TBH an excuse to get a bit drunk !) Only DH has gone and invited some guy he works with and his girlfriend neither of whom I've met. Grrrr. I just wanted to have a few too many glasses of wine and probbaly get a bit teary and now I'm stressed out about entertaining!

travellingwilbury · 18/09/2009 07:21

Good morning all

Shabs I hope you are feeling better this morning

fm, I hope you have managed to get your car fixed

Still feeling like shite here , just can't get out of this funk , not sure I want to either which is more of a worry . I need to have a good cry but I am holding off . Stupid as I know I feelk better if I do have a cry .
No helping some people

I hope everyone is feeling ok this morning xxx

woollyjo · 18/09/2009 08:22

Hi girls,

I hope you are all muddling through ok.

Had an awful night, I though I was doing ok, having days when things were nearly normal again, work was ok etc then bang, hours of uncontrollable sobbing DH feeling awful 'cause he doesn't know what to do, me not being able to stop ... when will this hell be over?
