I'm a bit shattered - living room is fully painted, apart from glossing a radiator. Next job is to wallpaper feature wall - should be fun as i've never hung a strip of wallpaper in my entire life

Oh i intend to lottie - i now have a friend coming with me whose mum deals with Shelter within her job, and she's gotten loads of good advice for me, so am feeling much more confident about going to them now.

Morning all........have managed to get dressed today. Wilf got very upset yesterday when i was ill as he can remember when his dad was ill and didnt get dressed. He kept saying "dont die mummy" I did try to explain that i felt better today though!!

Awww poor Wilf. Danny used to be the same after we lost Mat.

I was back at work on Friday and spent yesterday at the science centre with Ross.. havent been for ages so we spent hours there .. was really good fun

I had to go take Frasers xmas tree out his garden today.. that was bloody hard but at least its done now

I obviously missed the fight interesting discussion I'm just glad you didnt get banned again Shabster..

hope everyone gets over their horrid flu soon. Wilf is sooo cute Lottie.. he will be pleased to see you up and about again

I literally take my life in my hands going to his! He lives in a caravan and it is accessible ONLY by walking over flat pallets which are like iceblocks when it gets cold oh and the really fun bit is there is very little light on your way round there!

The family have gone, Mac is in bed and I am knackered!

My niece and nephew were fab with ds so luckily I didn't have to entertain him, but I spent the time running around getting everyone drinks and food instead!

Busy day today - i'm getting laid. Or rather the floor coverings are then this afternoon im off to see my housing officer wrt getting the house fit for habitation. Id much rather be back in bed though

Nearly back to normal here , no school until tomorrow but oh is back to work and we took the tree down yesterday so the house suddenly looks like it has space . Won't last long but I will enjoy it while it lasts

I am supposedly starting a diet today along with the rest of the western world so wish me luck .

Hiya TW - good to see you. Tom is back at school this morning - and things are settling down - thank God!!!

Im giving up the booze except for week-ends. Have drunk too much over the holidays and feel like poo this morning. It has been my 'crutch' for many years but Im tired of it now. Never thought I would hear myself say those words - another few steps down our crappy path me thinks?
