Hi ,
Just popping in to see how you all are, and to say a big thank you for all your wonderful messages about Harrys scan result. Shabs is such a dear dear friend, love her to bits. Sorry to have to say hello to our new mummies, because you dont want to be on here. I feel for you, there is no pain in this whole wide world as bad as the ain you are feeling now. Its 14 yrs since my beautiful Matthew left me, and my life has never been the same, how can it be? But as Shabs said, there will some day be a smile on your face, you wont wake up every morning feeling lost, and sad and unhappy, but it takes time, a long time, but it does happen, unbelievable as that will feel to you right now. We would all want to turn back our clocks, we cant, but we can look to tomorrow with them and for them. They never ever leave us, but its hard, so very hard to be without them physically. But our love, their love goes on...............forever xxxxx

FMN is chortling quietly away about Shabs plumbing comment........

charleymouse · 17/10/2008 14:15

Afternoon all, hope you are well.
Lottie can you claim on the house insurance, I know you don't need the hassle but at least if you don't have the expense as well.

My DD has a vulva and DH and G have tails. She sometimes calls it a hoover or a volvo though. Confusing or what. Daddys chin (stubble)is spiky whilst mummy is pink. The other day she did tell me however that daddys beard was scratchy whilst Mummys was fluffy like a teddy bear.

lottiejenkins · 17/10/2008 16:00

Hi.................... i am staying at a friends for the night, i can claim for the building work on the insurance but not for the plumbing.........ive also had to pay £69 for the water company to find my outside stopcock which was 100 yards round the corner behind a hedge!!

OP posts:
feedmenow · 17/10/2008 18:50

Sorry, I know I shouldn't STILL be laughing, but the thought of having to pay someone to find your "outside stopcock".........too much for me to take!!

I gather you've been taking about names of bits? Did I tell you what dp told ds (aged 6) a few months ago? Ds asked what his testicles were called and I said "ask daddy" (I wasn't bottling it, I just wanted him to ask dp for the amusement factor!). Anyway, he asks dp and dp looks from him to me, to him, to me (picture rabbit in headlights) then says "love balls". Loveballs FFS!!!!

frasersmummy · 17/10/2008 20:15

HAHAHAH loveballs!!!! wait till he repeats that in the playground

mel1981 · 17/10/2008 23:36

PMSL Loveballs thats so funny!!! Prob something that my DH would say too. Cant stop giggling.
Hayden asked me loudly once in the zoo's toilets 'do you have a hairy willy mummy?' I couldnt stop laughing just cause he caught me off guard.
I love the things kids come out with sometimes- theyre so funny.

mel1981 · 17/10/2008 23:38

So sorry to hear about your leak lottie hope you get it sorted soon. x

Hope everyone else is well?

shabster · 18/10/2008 00:35

Morning ladies.

Tiamummy has another thread at the mo and as we all know she is finding it all very difficult at the moment. Reading her posts brings back how awful it was, I just wish I could help take away some of her pain.

The link is here

shabster · 18/10/2008 11:15

Thanks for the link - just posted - kept deleting and writing my post - then deleting cause it sounded awful. Poor girl, the early weeks are pissing horrible....

frasersmummy · 19/10/2008 10:40

I have just posted on tiamummys thread...

I told her about Frasers funeral and now I'm having a wobble

I hate the fact that I can cope for so long and then all of a sudden the feet get knocked from under me and I feel like shit again

shabster · 19/10/2008 10:52

I have had major wobbles since I read Tiasmummy's thoughts and emotions. I dont know how to help her - the agony and grief in her words has made me long to be able to show her that there is 'the light at the end of the tunnel.'

Not suprised you are having a wobble my love.....
