Hi everyone, first of all a big thankyou to Shabster for pointing me in this direction.

I lost my ds 7 years ago now, it was his 7th birthday last friday, he was my first child.
I have two other children my dd who is 5 and my ds who is 3.

Seven years on and when it comes to my ds's birthday i still find it very hard and upsetting, mostly because as the years go on my family seem to forget my ds, including my dp. I went alone to the cemetary to visit him for his birthday and i felt so sad that i was the only one who remembered it was his birthday.

lottiejenkins · 06/10/2008 10:22

feedmenow · 06/10/2008 13:26

Hi everyone, hi orangemoon. I think I saw a thread you'd started about this. I sooo wanted to post but for some reason no words would come at the time. I have yet to experience the pain of people forgetting as I am still pretty new to this game. But I felt it so important from the word go for people to remember - I recall at Eris' funeral saying to people as they left "don't forget her, please don't forget about her!"

Do you want to talk about your ds to us? Tell us his name and why he isn't wih you?

Lottie, glad you enjoyed the play!

lottiejenkins · 06/10/2008 16:43

Morning all,
welcome OM, don't take it to heart OM, my DH doesn't visit, yet I feel the need to, albeit not that often. Sorry about your little boy.

Shabs Lewis is coming on so nicely he is a handsome little fella.

FMN so pleased the scan went well.

Lottie you will have a great time at disney,

Hello everyone else.

feedmenow · 07/10/2008 14:51

Just a quickie to say I had another scan today for them to check the heart, which looked nice and normal.

Also, asked the sonographer to double check the sex and she said girl too, so I suppose I need to get used to the idea of another girl. I very much doubt they'd have both got it wrong would they?

How's everyone else? All well I hope.....

lottiejenkins · 07/10/2008 15:26

Morning all

I did come and say hello to everyone before but I then went off and didn't come back (sorry ) I have been having a crappy few days , it should have been Harrys 8th birthday yesterday and my own mother didn't even pick up the phone to me

A couple of people were lovely and I knew that as time went on less and less people would make an effort but I didn't think my own mum would be one of them .

Anyway onwards and upwards I hope you are all doing ok at the moment and I will be back xx

lottiejenkins · 08/10/2008 08:25
