My wonderful, beautiful husband Richard Anthony Smith died at home today at 3.45pm. His son had arrived a little while earlier and Richard was at peace, knowing all his children were here.

I was with him when he died, holding his hand and having a lovely chat with India. His passing was so peaceful that I didn't immediately realise he had gone.

Thank you all for your amazing support and love during this most awful year of ours. xxx

You beautiful woman. So very strong and so very brave to hold the man of your dreams as he drifted off to a pain free world of sunshine and smiles.

I am so, so glad that Richard eventually came home to you all. To your unconditional love and support, one last time.
