The other thread has reached 1000 posts, so I hope no-one minds that I started a new one......Hoping R is home with you now!

OP posts:
NorksAreMessy · 12/04/2011 22:53

Ooh, Kurri, that would be really useful on all threads

EasterChickAndRabbitKurri · 12/04/2011 23:00

Norks - you can get the OP's posts highlighted on any thread by going to 'customise', but only OP. - I've asked MnHQ if they'll do Rinder's posts. (many apologies for slight hijack, but hope its helpful)

onlyjoking9329 · 12/04/2011 23:23

So glad to hear Richard is home.
I understand the bitter sweet thing thou and that will be with you for a while.
Something I wished I'd have done was to write a diary.
It's fab that you've got 2 carers and im sure you'll find that they soon blend in.
I'm hoping that you're all asleep now, together again.

MrsDmamee · 13/04/2011 01:49

Thinking of you and your dear R...Hope his home coming was of some comfort to you and your girls.. sending you continued support from a few thousand miles away.

Did you get the information you needed about when he nears the end? :(
Sorry I'd that sounds horrible, I just wanted to make sure that you learned what you need to know. xxJacks

So glad he is home, have followed these threads from the start (is it really nearly 12 months?) I am so sorry that this has happened to your beautiful family. Take care and enjoy now for all you can.

mummylin2495 · 13/04/2011 08:50

i do hope that your first night as a reunited family went well with your dear Richard having a really peacefull night back in his own home.Im sure this will help to relax him as he is now within his familiar things. I hope this can continue for a long while yet.

FebreezeYourJeans · 13/04/2011 09:09

I'm so thrilled that you are all together again. I will regret to the end of my days not bringing my Dad home to live his last few days with the people who loved him most. You will never regret this x x x

trumpton · 13/04/2011 09:35

I had my wonderful dad home to live with us. It was ,without doubt, the best thing I have ever done. The Hospice home staff were great and he loved being visited by the district nurses . The pain relief they set up was incredible. I wish the Pransome Hince and his Rincdercella and his family sunny days and peaceful nights. XXXX

ViolaTricolor · 13/04/2011 10:16

So glad he's home Rinders, though as ever it breaks my heart to think about how hard this is for you, and to think about how bloody unfair it is. I'm so glad you are happy with the people helping you, they sound wonderful. Thinking of you and yours. xx

Emmanana · 13/04/2011 12:16

Thinking of you all Rinders. May you make many loving memories that stay forever in your hearts. No one can ever take them away. xxx

mejon · 13/04/2011 12:16

Another lurker here, too. I'm so glad you have your darling husband home and are able to spend this time together. I also looked at his picture on your profile, and was struck by the strength and calm he radiates - he is obviously a very special man. I can only guess at what you must be going through, and how precious this time will be for you. Sending love and thoughts your way.

MissAnthrope · 13/04/2011 13:08
