An old friend in the US has named her baby daughter McCaa. The only reason I know it's a girl is because her middle name is Laura!

i heard someone calling 'Tresemmé' at the softplay yesterday-maybe she had lost her shampoo though!

Wispa, SE London does seem common for strange unusual names doesn't it.

Thunderduck · 29/03/2009 11:31

I read of a boy called Jackie Chan Ninja Soulblade once, in a magazine when readers were asked to write about their child's unusual name.

sister and brother, Happy and Sorry respectively. I should imagine Sorry has a bit of a complex!

I'm just remembered a great one - Satin Heaven. WTF?!

And also saw a little girl at storytime at the library called Laud. I've never heard it before but actually I quite like it.

I knew of a Lancelot Turtle at University. He was studying medicine. A truly fabulous Doctor's name.

I worked with a Jo King (her parents didnt think that one through did they?) and a Willy Bully.

There was a boy at my sons nursery called Neo. Seems a bit tame compared to the others really!

I once knew a Magnus. Not that strange, except that I was convinced it was Magners, until my DH corrected me, because I thought it was funny to share a name with a brand of cider

CornishKK · 31/03/2009 14:15

I went to school with a Sequoia. Her middle name was Evenstar.

In a class full of Deborahs/Claires/Joannes etc she had a hard time.

Whats next Dr.Pepper for a boy?
