I like Ignatius too. Not sure i'd be brave enough, but I don't think it rates a mention amongst this crowd.

DD is Anya, we thought it pretty. My mother's first response was isn't that a variety of potato, to which I replied so are Charlotte, Cara, Nadine and Nicola and stuck my tongue out.

Had to laugh when my mate Ed told me his sons middle name is Eddison. It's not a bad name or anything but he chose it because it means son of Ed.

There was a woman on the radio the other day who called her daughter Madison, and her surname was Emerson. I'm still hoping it was a joke.

Tarquin.
Clearly the child will turn out to be an allergy ridden snivelling little mummy's boy.

Sorry.

Different culture I know but I had to ask twice when a little girl I taught told me her new brother was called Jamshed [pronounced jamshit]

I think OP is trying to find a name for her new baby so getting ideas.

A colleague named her dd Deliliah and another Matilda. I think these are lovely names.

One of my colleagues told me he was going to name his ds Ben and told me not to tell anyone. When it was born he named it Oscar. I actually didn't care about it enough to tell it to anyone so wondering why he lied. Then another colleague name his ds Oscar months after and the other guy was furious. Should've kept it at Ben then! Bizarre but true.

Sisters in my daughters swimming class. Babe and Vegas. Saw a birth announcement in the paper, Fox and heard someone on the phone the other day asking if they had picked up Jaquelina from School.
