PeaceLily - there is a Tequila at the school my daughters attend.

And a Destiny.

We also know of Tenessee, Atlanta, Princess, Precious, Ikea (pronounced Ika allegedly) and Tia-Maria. I kid you not.

YesSirICanBoogie · 19/01/2009 20:58

When a friend of a friend was pregnant they announced their choices as Elmo for a boy and Snow for a girl.

IsThereAnybodyUpThere · 19/01/2009 21:01

Ha ha, I really like Elmo, but I would never have gone for it because I concede it is TOTALLY ridiculous but I sort of admire their balls for going with it

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 19/01/2009 21:10

OMG

tell me how the bounty popularity checker works, my DD name was number 257 and is now number 1!!

Noooo!!

nkf · 19/01/2009 21:12

Someone once told me their son was called Scipio. Skippy for short. I mean to say, Skippy was a bush kangaroo.

PoloPlayingMummy · 19/01/2009 21:14

Ocean.. for a boy. He has such beautiful long curly blonde hair that from the back I had assumed with that name he was a girl - Oops!!

hotCheeseBurns · 19/01/2009 21:16

I was unreasonably disgusted with my dp's friends who named their DAUGHTER Beau.

WinkyWinkola · 19/01/2009 21:16

Bobby Dazzler. For a girl or a boy.

dan39 · 20/01/2009 22:31

Evanee for a girl.

ChristmasPenguin · 20/01/2009 22:37

oi! my uncle and a very old friend are called Roger, what's wrong with that?

Stitchwort · 20/01/2009 22:56

In the park recently met very cute twins, the girl was called Chardonnay and the boy Rio.

I don't like to judge people on name choices (but I obviously do or I wouldn't be writing this) but I did nearly choke when pregnant lady in cafe next to me announced baby would be called Ignatius.

jellybeans · 21/01/2009 04:54

The bounty thing is saying all names are number 1 at the moment!

Fable · 21/01/2009 11:46

I work with an Ignatius, he's african
