everly · 06/06/2025 22:51

As the title states, please choose which two you like best for twins.

Margot
Audrey
Sylvie

Just to clarify, I am not looking for any other name suggestions.

Thanks

Margot and Sylvie —both very chic Fifties-style names! Both elegant and pretty.

Audrey for me is just far too elderly-lady for a cute toddler! And doesn’t quite fit the style of the other two.

1st & 3rd = beautiful names together!
(possibly worth just taking a moment to consider M &S written and vice-versa ? Just a thought!)

JustGiveMeWineNow · 06/06/2025 23:07

Def not Audrey! Love the other combo

JazzyBBBG · 06/06/2025 23:08

I think Audrey is really under used and yet so elegant. I know a teenage Audrey and she's lovely. It is a family name so I wish I had use it now!

StartupRepair · 06/06/2025 23:09

All lovely. Lock in Margot so you don't have two names ending in an 'ie' sound.

Margot and Sylvie is absolutely gorgeous.
Margot and Audrey also sweet.

Rockmehardplace · 06/06/2025 23:13

Margot & Sylvie

DramaAlpaca · 06/06/2025 23:17

I wouldn't do two 'ie' sounding endings.

I love Sylvie but I think it's too soft and pretty next to a name with a harder sound like Margot.

So I'd choose Margot and Audrey. They have a similar retro feel to them as well.

Gemstonebeach · 06/06/2025 23:17

Margot and Sylvie.

Justme2023123 · 06/06/2025 23:20

Audrey and Sylvie

BuntyBeaufort · 06/06/2025 23:20

I’ve always been grateful that my lovely mum vetoed dad naming me Audrey. So the other two would be my choice.

TheyreLikeUsButRichAndThin · 06/06/2025 23:22

Margot and Sylvie

(but Margo and Goldie if you were taking suggestions 😁🤐)

Blackoutbeans · 06/06/2025 23:22

Margot and Sylvie

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 06/06/2025 23:27

Margot & Sylvie as Audrey just conjures up the word dreary in my mind.
Plus I think a teenage Audrey would be cross about Sylvie/Margot having the prettier names.

mouse26 · 06/06/2025 23:28

Margot and sylvie sound so lovely together

rumblegrumble · 06/06/2025 23:28

Margot and Sylvie would make it sound like you really loved ballet (at least to anyone who knows ballet).

I'd go for Margot and Audrey, they go together really well.
