my surname which i have held onto post marriage.it's a hard one for people to forget.so it would have stuck whether i changed mmy name or not

I knew a girl called Lyn Wanklyn.

and had a friend called Miss Beever. i'm not putting her first name because she might read this.

I went to school with a Dyke, her first name was Lesley which didn't help matters really.

My SIL had a teacher (a teacher) called Mr Smellie.

There is another teacher (teacher) round here called Miss Sidebottom (she's lovely btw).

I think my fave surname tho is from when I lived in the north East, where I knew a Helen Argument.

My maiden name is Horlick.
Many jokes about Ovaltine, bed time drinks etc. at school. Then as we got older they got ruder. I changed my name when I got married, keeping my maiden name was never an option for me!
