btw re: Dick King - there is a v brilliant author called Dick King Smith (author of The Sheep Pig, filmed as Babe). So proof that it need not hold you back in life.

i have a book of worst names.
but iof i checked it that would be cheating, right.
in my defense, it seemed like a good sort of book to have in the downstairs loo for, er, browsing if you happen to find yourself in there for some time.

In my family tree we have the names Pratlett, Stabbins and I think worst of all Clapp. Oh and the Clapp women didn't tend to be that keen on getting married either.
