Husband and I have finally made our final choices. But still, we are stuck, so please send tell me which ones do you prefer, be as honest as you want ( Not easily offended). We don't know the sex , and I am due at the end of this month.

His choice
A girl: Harper-Rose
A boy : Levi

My choices
G: Victoria
B: Owen

Which do you prefer ?

Harper and Owen, but there are nicer names out there.

ClocksGoingBackwards · 18/07/2022 07:52

Your choice.

Harper Rose is two names, not one first name, and it sounds like you’re trying to follow a celebrity trend. Levi is nice but too biblical for me.

EveryFlightBeginsWithAFall · 18/07/2022 07:53

His for a girl, yours for a boy. Although not keen on rose

RuthW · 18/07/2022 07:56

Victoria and Levi

LisaSimpson77 · 18/07/2022 07:57

Broadly speaking I prefer his names.
Harper and Rose are both nice individually but I hate hyphenated names.
Levi is lovely.
Victoria isn't my favourite but could be a good versatile name.
Dislike Owen though.

Depakote · 18/07/2022 07:57

My top name was : Margot and Clement, unfortunately my husband vetoed both or them. Those 4 names are the only names we could agreed on

Yours (although I dislike Owen).

His are way too trendy

JasmineVioletRose · 18/07/2022 07:58

None of them. Sorry.

Namechange192727171 · 18/07/2022 07:58

Sorry, apart from Victoria they're all awful.

None of them. Sorry.

Actually Rose on it's own is quite nice.

coffeecupsandfairylights · 18/07/2022 08:00

I much prefer his.

TreePoser · 18/07/2022 08:02

Yours, I dont like Victoria but Harper is horrible.

Levi seemed so trendy in the 90s! Much prefer Owen.

Stick with owen. Tori is ok but the political connotations ruin it

Runningdownthehill22 · 18/07/2022 08:03

I’m not overkeen on your names but they are better than his. But I prefer his names to Margot and Clement which are really bad!

Mymoneydontjigglejiggle · 18/07/2022 08:05

I like Victoria and Levi.

Quia · 18/07/2022 08:06

Victoria is way better than Harper-Rose. Hyphenated names are daft anyway. Levi is also a bit daft. Not sure about Owen.

DangerouslyBored · 18/07/2022 08:06

All dreadful I’m afraid. Victoria is ok ish but Vicky is awful.

Harper Rose and Levi 😬

Bikeybikeface · 18/07/2022 08:06

I like Victoria, it’s classic. I don’t really like hyphenated names. Harper would be ok on its own. Owen is nice too, Levi not so much. What we did was have a few names we both agreed on and then when baby arrived, we took a good look at her to see what name seemed to suit her best.
Cant you find names you both agree on? Go through the name book together, there has to be one you both like.

Margot is a beautiful name

Whatsonmymindgrapes · 18/07/2022 08:08

I’d go
rose
owen

KylieCharlene · 18/07/2022 08:08

Victoria is ok (despite a horrible girl at school ruining the name)
Owen is a nice name.

Others are very undesirable.

Workawayxx · 18/07/2022 08:14

Harper or rose. I don’t like either boys name!

would Elijah nn. Eli be a compromise for Levi?

MajorCarolDanvers · 18/07/2022 08:15

Victoria and Owen

Easilystartled · 18/07/2022 08:17

Harper Rose and Levi sound like the protagonists of a story written by a 10 yr old.
Victoria and Owen and much better, although personally I’m not particularly keen on either.

CloseYourEyesAndSee · 18/07/2022 08:20

Victoria and Owen
Levi and Harper are dated and hyphenated names are cringe

If you call your son Clement you may as well tattoo 'punch me ' across his forehead.
