Venus, Story, Ember or Apricot?

Venus, Story, Ember or Apricot?
I've narrowed my name list down to these.
I want something a little different to the top 20 names if possible.
Middle name would be Jean.
Which is your favourite in order please or what do you think?

I think it would be cruel to name a child apricot, remember they will grow up to be respected adults one day

Story is nice. Ember is okay.

Venus is too Serena and Venus Williams. Apricot is a little bit funny (sorry! but Apricot Jean honestly made me laugh, sounds like a nickname for a fruit seller).

Well those are quite different to the top 20 names. Not my cup of tea so couldn't advocate for any of them.

Please don't name your child after a mythical goddess, fruit that looks like bottom, the burning remains of a fire or a tale. So many dodgy connotations and she'll probably end up calling herself Jean.

I don't like any of those. At a push Venus is okay and recognisable as a name. Possibly Ember. Story and Apricot are terrible in my opinion.

Ember is pretty.

Not Apricot. I know someone who was named after a fruit and the mockery at secondary school was relentless. Why would you give your child a name that encourages bullying?

Ember is ok. Story is ridiculous and again invites bullying.

This is about your child, not your desire to be different. Give her a name that she will love. No one on earth could love being called story or apricot 🤦‍♀️

Ember is ok at a push but she will get called Amber. Venus is a lot to live up to. Story and apricot are your pregnancy hormones talking. They're not names.

They're all awful and pretentious IMO. Sorry to be blunt.

I agree wih @thingymaboob Please don't do this to your child. I am sorry but they will all cause untold problems for them.

Apricot is similar to Peaches….in that it’s not a good name for a person either!

I love Story.
No to Venus and Apricot.
Ember is nice but she will forever be called Amber.
