Reckon everyone should express their opinions on OPs chosen name a bit more kindly. It's her choice of name and I love it, not sure why everyone seems to thinks it's some kind of burden to have a name which can be associated with the other sex, seems very odd to me. Broaden your minds goodness

Why would you give a girl a name that is 100% a boy's name? Just why?
If you wanted a boy so much you need to use the name anyway then ffs make it the middle name and give her a name that won't have her forever explaining that yes she is a girl but her parents gave her a boy's name.

It's very useful to see how 'the kids' use certain words nowadays. Especially when you're planning to name your DD 'Casper'.

Casper is a beautiful name for a boy, I don't think it's a name that works well for a girl though. It's really unusual for me not to say If you love it use it...
