So with the announcement that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting her 3rd child, what are your thoughts on baby names? I know it's early days...

I meant be surprised if George doesbt shorten it to something he can say fairly easily and if he doesn't then possibly Princess Prince Baby III will. Does itreally matter one way or the other if theyhave pet names or nicknames?

Haven't Edward and Sophie bagged Louise and James - so it won't be those as first names.

Can't see that stopping them, given that Diana's brother called his daughter Charlotte Diana about three years before Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana was born.

I think any names outside of immediate family will be fair game, but not others. So I think Elizabeth, Alexandra, James, Henry, Alexander, Diana, all out. Maybe James as middle name but not first as a. Kate's bro and b. too Scottish king.

fizzy king James joined the crowns so he was king of England too. Not sure why him being a Scottish king would be a problem anyway The royal family aren't all that English to be honest.

I can see Alice being the girls name and Arthur for a boy, these seem to be the top names at the bookies too, it's a pity really as anyone that wants those names and uses them they are going to get associated with choosing them because of the royals
