Hi all new on mumsnet pls help me for my daughters name
We have 3 decisions:-
Africa
India
Egypt
Thnx

Africa isn't a country.

The obvious (to me) school nickname for Egypt would be eedjit.

Ops I mean 'places' sorry

India is the only one that is a name to me.

Ok I didn't think if Belgium before, it doesn't have to be country's can be place or city anything, I want to stumble onto the next 'Paris'

It's your child who has to live with a stupid name, not you. You can not seriously be thinking of calling your child Belgium. If you are, I think you should hand the responsibility of naming this new person onto someone else.

Seriously, India was traditionally considered posh, but now isn't. I taught a little Spanish girl called Africa years ago, but she is the only Africa I have ever come across. Never heard of an Egypt human being. Kim Basinger's kid is called Ireland IIRC.
