I don't understand why anyone is about any name, tbh. People just become their name, don't they? Then again, I have an unusual name so just don't see it as particularly relevant.

I was looking through a recently published baby names book yesterday to get inspiration for dc2 due in october.... one offering for a boy was Gaylord (!) who in their right mind would lumber a poor boy with that particular number? The origin of the name was sensible, but really!

Know a girl called Montana which I think sounds quite masculine and boys called Jet and Ace which remind me of Gladiators. That said though I can't imagine any of them having run of the mill names as they seem to suit their personalities.
