Any names that can be used for both boys and girls. IMO you shouldn't have to ask if DC is a boy or girl once you know its name.

A very similar name to mine has been mentioned on here. First time I have ever seen it mentioned in a negative context.

The poster who dislikes it has mentioned liking a really awful name though, so I am comforted by their extremely poor taste.

Personally, I dislike any names that are 'try too hard'. Anything that seems trendy but alternative, like Ptolemy or Hero. And also the Kayleigh, Carly, Jade brigade. They are icky to me.

Bingo card tick - DD has now been mentioned. Just DS2 to go and we have a full house .

Really though, it's a good thing that people like different names - otherwise, we'd all be called Bob wouldn't we? Would get a bit confusing .
