Free colour palettes - Stylecraft Special DK

Inspired by the Woolly Hugs "Kinship Projects" colour palettes I have decided to create some on my own to share with fellow crocheters & knitters (and anyone else really!)
These are absolutely free to use & I hope you enjoy them as they are or a starting point for your own variations.

Oh and I'd love to see photos of any projects!

Hats - various DK wool used here on 5 hats, top & bottom two were made with 10 mm hook, and the one with the jaffa on top was 4mm hook.

The sky blue one was actually a chunky wool (8 or 10mm hook, can't remember)

Oooh I love them all! Especially the scarf! I am going to order some of your colour suggestions for a ripple blanket today .

I've been checking out W Morris stuff and found this in related images. Are these the colours you are after?
I can do that and would add Shrimp & Pomegranate for lovely coral effect accents. What do you think?

I love the blue/green/purple colours. I'd be really interested to see how the shrimp and pomegranate interact with them.

I am absolutely rubbish with accent colours though. I did a lap blanket for MIL earlier this year. I had cream, sage and khaki and knew it needed something else to lift it. Lovely posters here suggested copper and boy did that look good. I would never in a million years have added that BUT having seen the blanket at MILs house it is exactly the colours of her living room.

This is a blanket I pinned on my Pinterest crochet board a couple of weeks ago. I have looked it up on Ravelry but the crafter hasn't listed the yarn or colours used. I like using the summer garden pattern as I can join as I go I'm a lazy trout who hates sewing up

What colours would be best Stylecraft matches? My best guesses are:
Cream
Parchment
Stone
Denim (or perhaps Storm Blue)
Lavender
Plum

What do you reckon?

Take a look at "Rose Garden" , #2. If reds & pinks are not your thing let me know what "flower" shades you'd like. The greens would be the same and I can add a few blues for sky.

These are wonderful. I'm so rubbish at picking colours that work well together. You have a really good eye for it!
