Inspired by the Woolly Hugs "Kinship Projects" colour palettes I have decided to create some on my own to share with fellow crocheters & knitters (and anyone else really!)
These are absolutely free to use & I hope you enjoy them as they are or a starting point for your own variations.

Oh and I'd love to see photos of any projects! Smile

Note to self, this would make a good hexagon cardigan. I'd like to see some projects. Looking . . .

What a fantastic initiative, ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba! It's wonderful to see the crafting community coming together to share resources and inspiration. Your generosity in creating and freely sharing these color palettes is truly heartwarming. It's amazing how a simple palette can ignite endless creativity in the hands of fellow crocheters, knitters, and crafters.
The Woolly Hugs "Kinship Projects" have indeed inspired a beautiful ripple effect of kindness and creativity. Your offer to use these palettes as a starting point for personal variations is a great idea. It encourages crafters to not only enjoy your color combinations but also to explore their own artistic interpretations.
I'm sure many people, myself included, are eager to take advantage of your generosity and incorporate these palettes into our projects. Thank you for fostering a sense of community and sharing the joy of crafting. I can't wait to see the wonderful projects that will emerge from these color inspirations! 😊🧶🎨

I’m wanting to try Stylecraft for the first time, and I ran across your colour palettes. You have a beautiful eye, and these are so so so helpful in seeing how the yarn colors look next to each other. Thank you so much for sharing!

Hi I want to say thank you for this thread.

Last winter I made Attic24's Hydrangea blanket, it's really lovely.
This year I have adapted it to make another blanket, Bluebell Forest with a couple of spicy colours added.
I would never have come up with such beautiful combinations on my own.

I know this is a fairly old thread but I'm in need of colour help

I'm doing a 4 way ripple blanket for my 6 Year old. She picked the 4 colours of lipstick, magenta, turquoise and bright pink, but I need a couple of complementary colours for the border and I can't figure out what will go. I thought maybe Kelly green and something else?

Does anyone have any suggestions? This seems to be the place for colour combos! Thanks

Actually I'm going to use Cream.

Zing you're amazing :)

I am planning a blanket for my sister. I am going to use a modified version of your Retro palette (I only need five colours). I'm currently thinking Tomato, Spice, Mustard and Lime. I was going to use Parchment but then I got my colour card out and it's a bit greyish. So I think I'll maybe go for Stone instead. I thought that would be better than Cream as less likely to show marks.

I keep meaning to make some pegs or even just little cardboard labels, as the colour card isn't much use for comparisons!

Anyway, thank you very much :) I've been planning the blanket for ages but it's finally nearing the top of my project list so I promised myself a little colour-planning session and have enjoyed looking through your palettes again. (I decided to make scarves for relatives instead of my ridiculous over-ambitious plan of making blankets for them all. I've been using super chunky so they don't take long to make!)

Anyone here making the attic woodland blanket?

Diamante I hope this link works as I had the blanket saved in Pinterest and I've sent it to Safari to make it a copyable link. I think there are further links to actual patterns in Ravelry that you might have to track down but it is gorgeous isn't it?
