Who's finished something recently? I don't have many crafty friends and love looking at things people have made.

Here's mine: some oven gloves for BIL and SIL who are moving house. One of three projects I'm making out of a pair of DH's old jeans!

Never sewn curves before so I'm chuffed with these Easter Smile and I didn't have to use bias binding! Win! I did have to slip stitch the turning gap closed which was a pain in the bum, but I prefer the look than if I had top stitched instead.

I made this reversible apron for my niece. I have had orders for another two from her friends. Quite pleased with myself.

Even it's bit a sewing one but can i join in? I live alone so have ba almost no feed back on this but I'm so proud of it.
I wanted to stop dd messing with the computer and get a projector to make up for the fact we don't have a TV.
I bought a second hand wardrobe added some shelves and ripped up an old and mouldy copy of great expectations.

So far I've only done the door panel, at some point I would like to do the rest but i hope it looks like it's supposed to be like that.

I think that wardrobe looks good with just the door panel decorated. The two plain sides add a nice border.

For me, most of March (and a large part of April) was spent crocheting a shawl. It's 4'9" across and made of 4 ply merino. And I'm not sure what to do with it now...!

OwlCapone - that's amazing, I love it.

I really want to make this shawl, but I'm a bit scared of it!

Thanks Pook.

You are, I think, right to be afraid of it. However, what is life without a few scary moments and chance taking? :)

I love crafty threads, especially now there are pictures! I'm getting ready to felt a crochets bag today. Nearly finished the crochet...

ThistledownAndCobweb · 26/04/2014 12:09

Owl, that shawl is amazing.
I'm glad I'm not the only person who makes things but doesn't know what to do with them.
I made this blanket recently and I'm trying to decide what to do with it.

I made this for my niece.

I've enough in my stash for loads of other quilts, just have to get motivated to start! Good thing is that a quilt uses up lots & lots so maybe I can get some storage space back..

Although the decoupage looks great & I have some nice paper put away and dd had some shoeboxes she's throwing out....

(Easily distracted? Moi?) Grin

I'm so happy to see so many amazing projects on here! Fabulous wardrobe upcycling, beautiful decoupage, and more inspirational knitting, sewing and crochet. Absolutely love seeing everyone's projects.

If anyone wanted to PM me links to shops that they might not be able to post here, that would be ok Wink

I've now sewn up my baby blocks and am just waiting for the poly fill to arrive so I can stuff them. I've also used some birthday money to buy a bigger cutting mat and a tri-tool which I'm going to break in making some bunting for a friend's new baby. Pictures when done!

My bag is in the washing machine with a load of towels - fun and chores in one go! I love this bit of felting as you never know exactly what's going to come out at the end.

Some really lovely blankets, quilts and other stuff here. I am having an "Ooooh! Squirrel!" moment - I'm also easily distracted.

clangermum · 26/04/2014 16:55

Gus the fairy door is brilliant, going to have a go Smile

teenybash7 · 26/04/2014 22:19

Pook, I've just downloaded the pattern - it looks lovely, though I think I too prefer your version. The Alpaca also looks gorgeous.

Thanks!

cjdamoo · 27/04/2014 01:14

Todays project is to make a slip cover for a friends cracked leather feeding chair. Hopefully it wont take too long so I can go back to my minky scrap blanket.

cjdamoo · 27/04/2014 08:37

I love that quilt top, focus How are you going to quilt it? I'm doing some free motion quilting on my current project, some of it is distinctly wonky!

focuson · 27/04/2014 15:53

Will probably keep with wonky log cabin theme (design from quilt dad) probably swirls
