Them Versus Us....Cardmaking Challenge of The Year

This challenge is open to ALL Mumsnetters.

Sign up by adding your name to this thread before 10th November.

All cards must be made by 19th November.

Challenge Rules.

There will be two teams..."Them" being the non-cardmakers and "Us" being the cardmakers.
When you join up to the challnge, you need to declare which team you will be batting for.

No "Toppers" are to be used.

The card must be made by your own fair hand.

You can use materials of your choice. Peel Offs, glitter, ribbon, fibres, card stock, stamped images, clipart.....all are acceptable.

The card must have a Christmas Theme.

The card must be finished and loaded into the gallery album marked "Them" or "Us" (depending on which team you are in), by the 19th November.(Instructions to upload your card will be posted nearer the time)

This challenge is for enjoyment, so have fun and be creative.

Triple embossing....sounds scary I've not ventured into heat gun territory !

Please could you give very simple instructions what to do with the photo

Instructions for uploading will be posted after the deadline for joining the challenge.
You need a digital camera or scanner to upload into the gallery. The album to host the challenge cards will be opened on the 17th November. All cards need to be finished and uploaded to the gallery by the 19th November.

I'm toying with the idea of joining in with this. I have an old crayon in the cupboard somewhere. I would be a "them".

I made 5 cards last week ... and my cat came in with dirty paws and sat on them and [disheartened]

Kanga, I can't think of any way of incorporating elastic without the card looking stupid! And without thinking of the MIL every time I look at it, which is even worse ...

Spray / colour the elastic gold - Thread beads or sequins on it - might possibly look like tinsel ????

(or it may just like coloured elastic )

I suspect it will just look like coloured elastic ...

Deadline to sign up has now passed and hopefully you are all busy being creative.

Your cards need to be photographed or scanned and uploaded by the 19th November. The album in the gallery will be opened on the 17th November.
I will post detailed simple instructions for you to load your cards the day before.
