OK, can I be a 'them'? I can't scan things though, but I can take a digital photo and forward it (See, not-crafty ot technically-minded, doh ) Is it a Christmas card we are making? Can I ask lots more stupid questions? And what is a sissex machine?

jayzmummy · 07/11/2005 19:54

Welcome to the challenge fullmoon.
A sizzix is a hand operated machine that cuts out paper shapes for cardmaking.

Kanga ... whyever didn't I think of that? I have 34 metres of the stuff; now, what can I do with it that would make a good design for a Christmas card??

PeachyClair · 08/11/2005 14:57

Personally, I say no judging as after sending one to another forum (I thought one of my best) I got such mean comments, that I didn't make a card for months and my confidence got shattered. .

Jayz, did you get the card I sent you from the bingo thingamajig?

Peels offs, ribbons, tin foil, sparkley confetti sprinkly thingymegigs, stickers, outlines, wrapping paper, glitter glue, staples, string, rubber stamps, pipe cleaners etc etc etc are all permitted...specialist crafting tools and gubbins such as heat guns, sizzix machines, embossing powders, UTEE, Diamond Glaze and eyeletting tools are not.

OP posts:
PeachyClair · 08/11/2005 18:08

Obviously no idea what I will do yet- but is quilling OK? I use a cocktail stick and shredded paper, no specialist gubbins at all!

WhizzzBangWhizzz · 08/11/2005 18:16

I don't even know what half of those gubbins things are
I fancy having a go at quilling though

jayzmummy · 08/11/2005 18:17

Quilling is fine....after all its just twiddling bits of paper, cutting and sticking for adults aint it???

OP posts:
PeachyClair · 08/11/2005 18:17

Whizz... do you want me to e-mail the intro to quilling sheet the quilling guild gave me? Really simple! I have a triple embossing ojne too that I did for card club.

PeachyClair · 08/11/2005 18:18

Jayz

that's it, 'just' simple...

(It is really!)
