Come hither all those who havent found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who enter will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from me, fucker, hairy, gomummy, tired mum and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all

Yes it did Tiredmum! Morning all!

Tiredmumno1 · 03/06/2010 13:34

Afternoon to ya, ta for the scone

gomummygo · 03/06/2010 13:52

Oooh, gazebo, lovely! Will it have room for a tiny buffet table Tiredmum?

CheerfulYank · 03/06/2010 16:01

Oh I do love a good gazebo! We've got one on our town green. (Yes, I live in exactly what people think of when they say "village"...gossip and all! )

We're doing underwear at night starting tonight gomummy! Fingers crossed! He actually has been staying dry at night on his own, so that's great. He's just very attached to his diapers for some odd reason, so I figured the only way to go was just cut 'em out completely!

So glad you're ok, cheese!

gomummygo · 03/06/2010 16:57

Wow that's great Cheerful! Fingers crossed for you! DS is attached to his too, always has been. Helps me launder them in the morning and loves to "hide" in the clean ones when we bring them in from the clothesline in the afternoon before I get them folded! Prefers to put them on his bears now though! Has not wanted to use the potty at all today so not pushing it.

Tiredmumno1 · 03/06/2010 17:53

it fits table, chairs and bbq and its got mesh walls, its like a conservatory, its bloody fab.

whos for a burger??

CheerfulYank · 03/06/2010 18:08

Sounds delish! I'll bring a vat of my fattening fabulous potato salad and some raspberry-lemondade.

gomummygo · 03/06/2010 19:42

Mmm...Yes please Tiredmum, extra cheese. Cheerful I cannot resist a creamy potato salad, sounds wonderful!

I will make us up a lovely fruit and cheese tray with some crusty bread and a little olive oil.

Tiredmumno1 · 03/06/2010 20:32

Wow so much lovely food everyone is bringing to the bench.

i feel like i am at a party

gomummygo · 03/06/2010 22:47

Hmm, a boogie? Will require copious amounts of alcohol before dancing will happen for me!

Suggest you all drink similar amounts if you're going to be subjected to my dancing in this gazebo, lol!

CheerfulYank · 04/06/2010 01:55

I'm the same gomummy (am fact am starting to think we are, in fact, the same person ) I need to guzzle it down before attempting anything that could be construed as "dancing"...unless it's to the Wiggles or something.

CheerfulYank · 04/06/2010 01:57

in fact, I meant. Good Lord, have I been drinking already? And only one in fact, not two.

Ezma · 04/06/2010 11:15

Is to too late to join you? Could do with a quiet sit down and a cup of tea. Sorry, scrap that, a very large G & T! Will bring plenty for everyone!

gomummygo · 04/06/2010 13:37

Welcome Ezma, always room on the bench! We have also recently added a lovely gazebo courtesy of Tiredmum's hard work!

Cheerful, have you been looking in my windows? I will confess to dancing with DS, but tis not exactly dancing that I would want played back to me on a video! He usually says "Funny mummy!"

Wish we were the same person as that would make me Cheerful! Tis a wonderful quality I would love to develop.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 04/06/2010 14:54

did junglist ever come back in the end?

Tiredmumno1 · 04/06/2010 15:24

No j vanished, bless her.

alright to the rest of ya, what wonderful whether, welcome ezma

whos for a mr frosty?

Tiredmumno1 · 04/06/2010 15:26

I meant weather

got erm sidetracked for a mo lol

Ezma · 04/06/2010 15:28

Thank you, (as I take a seat very gratefully in the lovely gazebo). Tired, a Mr Frosty with my G & T sounds a lovely idea thank you. Is there a fountain yet, would be nice to have the sound of gently running water in the background, very soothing. Happy to donate one to contemplate from the bench. Could dip our feet in it in this lovely weather...

CheerfulYank · 04/06/2010 17:24

What's a Mr Frosty? I guarantee I want one!

The downside of being cheerful, gomummy, is you can't even look the slightest bit thoughtful without someone coming up and saying "what's wrong?!" Good Lord, I don't have a grin on 24/7!

Welcome, Ezma! All are welcome I think, just no starting fights! (And bring some food and drink when you can )

Tiredmumno1 · 04/06/2010 17:55

Mr frosty is like a slush puppy (crushed ice with flavouring)

gomummygo · 04/06/2010 18:07

I bet that's true Cheerful. My mum is like that and though I envy her, people are always asking her what's up when she's not grinning from ear to ear. Still, I try to be quite cheerful for DS and sometimes wish it came easier to me!

Tiredmum do you have grape? I could go for a grape Mr. Frosty now....I will consume it slowly and by the time it is halfway down later on, I will possibly wish to add a touch of vodka to it - is that ok?

Tiredmumno1 · 04/06/2010 18:26

Thats fine gomummy, heres a fresh grape mr frosty i did test it and its well tasty lol.

i could knock up a wkd one if ya like, shite have i started to early

gomummygo · 04/06/2010 18:35

Thanks Tiredmum! Refreshing...

I'll take the wkd one in a couple of hours for sure! So busy these days, it is ridiculous, feeling as though I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off, lol! Is it officially the weekend yet?

teaandcakeplease · 04/06/2010 19:45

Can I have a Mr Frosty too? What flavours are there?

Gomummy - I have zero patience when I don't get enough sleep, just to answer your previous question from 2 days ago is it? Sorry been busy, went to a lovely kids farm with my parents yesterday and spent today at a park near me with paddling pool, bouncy castle, little ride on train and playground. Great day, kids loved it.

I haven't had my DD in knickers for a couple of days as I couldn't face any accidents whilst out all day Very very {envy] of Cheerful's DS without diapers at night!

I CANNOT dance for toffee either by the way. I have to drink a lot to even be persuaded dragged onto the dancefloor by friends. Even thought I feel very very silly and try and look at those around me for some ideas on moves! I'm so so awful at dancing, it is embarrassing really... My DD makes me dance with her at home too, thank God no one can see me!

As usually despite putting on vast amounts of sun screen, I've missed a tiny area somehow and have small red patch tonight. Wish my skin wasn't so fair at times like this.

teaandcakeplease · 04/06/2010 19:47

Is it me or is my post full typos and errors?
