Come hither all those who havent found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who enter will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from me, fucker, hairy, gomummy, tired mum and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all

Oh and don't forget, last one to leave polishes bench and locks up !

Good morning all!

Cheeky I'm of no help there, but hope you find something lovely!

GinSlinger · 26/05/2010 13:48

Oh Cheeky I'm hopeless as well, I'm afraid but I'm sure someone better will be along soon.

CheekyPinkSox · 26/05/2010 13:51

I just been to a shop in town called Bridal Oasis which had a gorgeous brown/gold colour dress it was perfect but the price was not perfect at £142 i nearly died. So went to another shop that is EXPENSIVE, most of the time the stuff in the windows are like £75, £80 etc etc for shoes. So i thought il have a look and in the back she had loads of dresses, i picked out a black and pink stripy one for my best friends wedding, it had a tiny mark on it so she dropped the price from £55 to £15 i wHAD to buy it then Its gorgeous. Was going to wear it for the hen party but my best friend whos the bride text me after i sent her a pic of it and she said wear it for wedding as its gorgeous so need something for hen night, think i might just go to new look lol

gomummygo · 26/05/2010 14:36

Sounds like you got a gorgeous dress for the wedding anyway! Halfway there...and what a steal! Good score Cheeky!

gomummygo · 26/05/2010 14:54

Junglist are you out there? Just catching up on other thread ! It has taken a strange twist...

junglist1 · 26/05/2010 14:56

I'm on there some bitch just said I'm disgusting

gomummygo · 26/05/2010 14:57

coming back...

junglist1 · 26/05/2010 14:59

Well you know my post will get deleted lol

gomummygo · 26/05/2010 15:04

What a thread! I missed a lot! It's moved even faster than the bench! Sorry for the difficult time you are getting, it is totally uncalled for. As I have just said.

junglist1 · 26/05/2010 15:06

Well, I feel I can say what I like on there now so won't be holding back. Should be fun.

gomummygo · 26/05/2010 15:11

Don't blame you, am so surprised sometimes at people's attitudes. Suppose I shouldn't be though. We volunteer at a shelter, is eye opening, and can be v. v.

gomummygo · 26/05/2010 15:17

Anyone for some munchies?

Looking for creative ideas for DH's birthday? It is a big milestone one.

GinSlinger · 26/05/2010 15:30

What sort of things does he like gomummy? Would he want to do something active or would he prefer something he could keep? Is there a budget?

ApocalypseCheese · 26/05/2010 15:35

Gawds sakes. I've been looking at bathbloodyrooms and ave missed all the good stuff!!

Whats been going on then ??!

OP posts:
gomummygo · 26/05/2010 15:36

I think for this one he'd prefer something he could keep. Travel is out for us right now.

No budget really in mind yet, this is a milestone one so probably a little more than typical, not sure...

RooBear · 26/05/2010 15:40

wow junglist that thread is vicious! (i'm on your side btw)

RooBear · 26/05/2010 15:40

(sorry not offering twice!)

ApocalypseCheese · 26/05/2010 15:50

Which soodin thread ??

OP posts:
CheerfulYank · 26/05/2010 15:51

Oooh, I'll have one, Roo!

Of course you can, HE. You will have to sleep on our couch and thus will be awakened in the middle of the night by either:1) my feckless brother who lives in our garage. 2) the most witless Golden Retriever who ever lived or 3) my son, who is fabulous but like all toddlers slightly deranged. So if none of that puts you off...

Will have to look up this thread, junglist...

CheerfulYank · 26/05/2010 15:52

Also your dress sounds lovely Cheeky. Are you going to post a pic?

gomummygo · 26/05/2010 15:53

Sorry Cheesy, it's an AIBU on kicking a dog, will go get thread title...

gomummygo · 26/05/2010 15:55

OK, it's called "to kick our friends' dog"

junglist1 · 26/05/2010 15:56

I knew I'd be deleted. Will repeat it if that piece of crap comes back on
