As before, we frame an AIBU from the point of view of a character in a book and everyone tries to guess the book and/or the character.

Poor Mildred, tabbies are lovely and at least you'll never mix up your kitten with anyone else's! My DD loved the Worst Witch series - I imagine your DD does too, Polly.

we're on the last chapter of the first book, she loves it and for me it beats thomas stories hands down

Yes, indeed, Misselthwaite Manor has over a hundred rooms. But I'm sure that child was talking nonsense when she said she found mice in one of them!

...I'm not worried about the DCs. All three of them are very good at taking care of themselves. It's more what might happen to other people...

...The DCs aren't telepathic but they do have unusual abilities. And warm hearts, I might add. But they don't always think before they act...
